Sick (Newt) {REQUEST}

a/n: Thank you for MazeRunner1515  this imagine request I hope this is how you imagined the imagine. And thank you everyone else who had made it this far in the book <3

I sat up in my bed as the sun shined in from the little window in my hut, I looked over at my boyfriend who was still asleep his blonde hair draped over his face. I put my hand on his shoulder and gently shook it.

"Newt you got to get up now," I said softly.

He groaned and snuggled more into the sheets of our bed.
"Come on Newt," I persisted and brushed away his hair from his forehead. 

"Newt can you sit up please," I asked and he slowly sat up. I put the back of my hand against his forehead.
"Newt your burning up, are you okay?" I asked.

"I'm fine well I mean I've been feeling like this for a few days," He said.

"Why didn't you tell me?" I asked.

"Because I knew you'd worry," He said smiling softly.
I kissed him on the head.
"Now I'm going to Med-Jacks to get you some medicine then I'm going to get you some food, stay here, unless you need the toilet," I said then walked out.

I walked across the Glade greeting multiple people on my way to the Med-Hut. I eventually got there and greeted Clint and Jeff.

"Hiya Y/n what can I do for ya?" He asked.

'"Well you see Newt has woken up with a rather bad cold this morning I was wondering if I could grab some meds," I asked.

"No problem Y/n I'll grab them for you right now," He said then walked off to get the meds. I waited patiently for him to return.
"Here Y/n, if he gets any worse bring him to me," He said then walked off.

I tucked the medicine away in my pocket and walked over to the kitchens, luckily for me I was a runner and I had a day off. I first walked over to Alby  and told him about the situation then told Minho and Thomas because by the end of the day the whole Glade would know Newt was sick. Then finally I went over to Fry to get some food. For the both of us.

"Hello Y/n whats going on with you?" He asked sweetly.

"Not much just a sick Newt, so I'll need some food for the go please," I said smiling at him.
"I hope he gets better," He said then gave me the food. I walked off to our hut.
I saw Newt laying there his eyes closed.

"Hey love," He said opening his eyes.

"Here take some of this," I passed him the medicine and he scrunched up his face.
"Newt you won't get better if you don't take it," I persisted.
He finally took it out my hand and took the tablets, he scrunched up his face again when he swallowed the medicine.

"That was gross," He commented.

" I know baby but here's your food hun," I said passing him the food. 

After he finished eating it and I got into bed with him, I wrapped my arms around him and brought him closer to me.
"I love you Y/n," He mumbled into me.
"Love you too Newt."

"Oh and Newt."
"Hmm," he replied.
"You need to take more of that medicine in about an hour," I told him.
'Noooo," He whined.
"It's in a few hours don't worry hun."

And with that he drifted to sleep.
