"We're seizing those weapons and using them to retake our home world. Once we've done that, we'll seat a new Mandalore on the throne." Bo-Katan explained. I tried to mask my surprise, keeping my face neutral. Retaking Mandalore would be a big challenge.

"That planet is cursed. Anyone who goes there dies. Once the Empire knew they couldn't control it, they made sure no one else could either." Din stated

"Don't believe everything you hear. Our enemies wanna seperate us. But mandalorians are stronger together." Bo-Katan said

"That's not part of my plan. I've been quested with returning this child to the Jedi." Din stated

"What do you know of the Jedi?" Bo-katan asked. I tensed up as my heart beat increased. The mention of the Jedi always sent my mind into a whirlwind of questions.

"Nothing. I was hoping you would help me by creed." Din replied

"I can lead you to one of their kind. But first, we need your help on our mission." Bo-Katan said, it sounded like more of an order than a question. But that was the least of my concerns. She knew where a Jedi was. Not only could this Jedi help us with the child...maybe they could help me understand who I am.

"Mission?" Din questioned

Bo-Katan raised her eyebrows and stood up from her seat. "Follow me."

The other two mandalorians stood up and tucked their helmets under their arms. I glanced over at Din and he gave me a slight shrug. We had come this far, what's one more mission?

The sun was beginning to rise and even though the site was beautiful, I don't think I've had a proper sleep in a few days. I stifled a yawn as I stood next to Din on top of our broken razor crest.

"You see that imperial Gozanti fighter?" Bo-Katan asked, referring tk the ship that was just across the bay. "It's being loaded with weapons as we speak. According to the port's manifest, it's scheduled to depart at first light."

"So we stow away?" Din asked her

"We've been hitting 'em pretty hard. They scan for life forms as a precaution before pushing back." Koska, the woman who saved me, said.

"If you wanna do this with five, you're gonna need the element of surprise." Din said

"Exactly. The freighter will maintain trawling speed while inside the shipping lanes then ascend in orbit. We'll jet up when they're cruising at low speed in atmosphere. The tower won't allow them to climb until they've left the port airspace." Bo-Katan explained

"Troopers?" Din asked. I felt myself tense at the mention of them and I absentmindedly reached my hand up to clutch onto the mythasaur necklace that hung around my neck.

"A squad at most." Bo-Katan replied

"And they couldn't hit the side of a bantha." Axe mused

Din looked over at me and tilted his head in question. Asking if I were up for the mission. I didn't hesitate to nod back to him. If this would get us to the Jedi, then it was worth the risk.

Din then turned to Bo-Katan and gave her a curt nod. Letting her know what we were on board with their mission.

Bo-Katan nodded in return. Her eyes flickered down to my hand that was fiddling with the beskar pendant. I saw a flicker of understanding in her eyes as she looked between Din and I.

I looked away from her and opted to stare off into the distance. The feeling of awkwardness rose in my chest uncomfortably, I'm starting to think wearing this necklace means something different to the mandalorians than what I thought. Then again, I'm not a mandalorian. I'm certain that there are a lot of things about their culture that I don't know.
