Yeji woke up to the alarm Ryujin had purposely set for her.

"Ryuddaeng" she called out. "I need to go home"

Ryujin groaned and buried her face into Yeji's neck. "5 more minutes"

Yeji felt her heart beat faster by the second.

"I'll be late" she said. "C'mon"

Ryujin groaned again and left a soft kiss on Yeji's cheek before letting her go.

Yeji smiled after getting up and placed a kiss on Ryujin's forehead before leaving the apartment.

----

Yeji couldn't stop thinking about the whisker dimpled girl the entire day.

She had to distract herself by studying but it never worked for more than 30 minutes.

"U seem more distracted today" Lia said.

"Really?" Yeji played dumb.

"Yeah" Lia said. "Oh damn, the cafeteria seems empty today"

"The girls' basketball team probably stayed home today" Yeji said.

"Right." Lia stated. "They're all lazy asses"

"I mean.... I can't disagree" Yeji replied. "I see Lisa dozing off at least 3 times in a single period"

"True" Lia said. "I walked past Ryujin and Chaeryeong's class once and Ryujin was literally sleeping while Chaeryeong was spacing out"

Yeji snickered. "Aish, they're really no different. No wonder they hang out together so often"

"Unnies!" They heard a cheerful voice and immediately knew who it was.

"Yuna!" Lia responded.

"Let's go eat!" The youngest exclaimed.

"Wow, this table's empty" Yeji said.

"Yeah, that's cus the basketball team sits here everytime so no one else really bothers sitting here" Yuna replied.

"Do u wanna sit with ur friends or sit here?" She asked the older two.

"Here's fine" Lia replied.

"I'll go get our food!" Yuna said before heading off.

A few minutes later, the younger arrived with two trays of food.

The three chatted while they ate, enjoying the peace at the table.

Soon after, the rest of the basketball team that didn't go to the tournament arrived.

"Oh, Yuna brought friends" they heard a voice from behind.

The team smiled to Yeji and Lia as they settled down.

----

"School's finally over!" Lia sighed as she walked out of the school with her best friend.

"It wasn't that bad" Yeji said. As if she hadn't been anticipating for school to end so she could see her 'suitor' again.

"You're just too good at studying" Lia said, rolling her eyes.

"And you're too bad at it" Yeji retorted.

"Excuse me" Lia said. "It isn't my fault I wasn't born in a smart family"

"Well too bad" Yeji replied. "Start working on that history review tho"

"Yah! I'm trying!" Lia exclaimed.

"You're not doing a good job at it then" Yeji said.

"Omg" Lia sighed. "I'm leaving without u"

"Ok" Yeji responded. "Don't get hit by a car"

"I'm not stupid!" Lia exclaimed.

"Can't be so sure, can we?" Yeji said.

Just then, they heard a car honk.

They turned their heads towards the car, Yeji immediately recognized who's vehicle it was.

"Dad?" She mumbled.

Her father drove the car forward, stopping just beside them.

"Hey kids" he greeted. "Want a ride home?"

"Sure" Yeji replied, entering the backseat.

"How about Lia?" Her father asked.

"Yeah! What about me?!" Lia yelled from outside.

"U said u were gonna leave without me!" Yeji yelled back.

"I was kidding!" Lia yelled. "Unlock the door!"

Yeji's father chuckled and unlocked the door for Lia to get in.

"I hate u" Lia mumbled as she got in.

"Very well" Yeji replied. "U can get out now"

"Mmno" Lia said.

The whole ride back was just both of them bickering in the backseat while Mr Hwang was quietly listening to them.
