Chapter 13| Telling our Friends

Khushi :(whispering to Pihu)"I need to tell you something"(She said not being able to hide things from Pihu anymore who had been asking her about the wedding she attended since the morning)

Pihu:"Hmm tell me"

Khushi :"listen to me very carefully okay?"

Pihu:"Okay boss. Now tell me"

Khushi :"I..."

Teacher:"Khushi !"

Khushi :(stood up startled)"Yes maam?"

Teacher:"Would you mind headed down to the HOD office for few mins. They need 2 students there for some help. Take another person with you"

All the kids looked at Khushi when she nudged Pihu to get up feeling overwhelmed with people wanting for her to pick them so they can run away from the apparent torture this class was being.

Pihu:(to the other students as the teacher stepped out the class for few mins)"Sorry peeps she wouldn't betray her bff now would she"(Pihu grinned as the 2 walked out)

They headed down to the HOD office to learn they needed 2 people to update the notice broad with new news and take down the old news. Khushi and Pihu headed over to the bulletin board and started to work on it.

Pihu:"So what was it that you want to tell me?"

Khushi :(looking around to see no one around)"Well. Listen to me very carefully and please don't scream"

Pihu:"Why would I scream? Did that so called chachi of yours do something? Khushi I swear"

Khushi :"No pihu listen to me"

Pihu:"Okay tell me"

Khushi :"I.. I got..married"(She said closing her eyes and opened them few mins later to see a shocked Pihu just staring at her)"Pihu? Pi.."(Pihu suddenly busted out laughed)

Pihu:(laughing)"Your joking right? Very funny Khushu but It's not April fools anytime soon"

Khushi :"I am serious Pihu"(She said as she took out the mangalsutra from her top to show her before putting it back inside)

Pihu:"WHAT TH..."(Khushi put her hand on her mouth shutting it tightly as Pihu looked on shocked)

Khushi :"I said don't scream"

Pihu:(whisper screaming)"What do you mean don't scream! I will scream! You got married!!! You freaking got married!!!! It's not a joke. Khushi . How? When? who? Wait Who did you marry? Is he good? Did your chachi and chacha force you? Is the guy a good person? Are you happy? If you aren't I will break that guy into pieces. (She said angrily)" Tell me who is he? Khushi you know what if your chacha and chachi did an..."

Khushi :"Calm down Pihu I am fine"

Pihu:"I can't calm down you got married dude? Your still young how and why? I am sure that chachaji of your struck some stupid deal and "

Khushi :"No Pihu. Chachaji and Chachi had nothing to do with this!"

Pihu:"What? Then How?"

Khushi :"Okay listen to me before your start blabbering again"(Pihu nodded as Khushi started to speak)

She told Pihu about everything. Each detail that she could remember.  All this while pihu stood there listening with shocked expression.

Khushi :"And so now I live with them"

Pihu:"I.. you.. WOW!"

Khushi :"I know it's shocking it was for me too. But I needed you to know this Pihu. I can't hide anything from you"(Pihu took some time as she proceed everything before she pulled Khushi into a tight hug.)
