Heeseung was once a popular high school boy, until he entered a toxic relationship. He lost everything he has worked hard for and blindly followed his girlfriend.
Does meeting Jake can help him realize his worth?
Can Jake make it right?
Now Playing...
Heeseung didn't bother to look back at the student council standing on the doorway as he made his way towards Sana.
"Let's talk somewhere else," Heeseung said in a cold tone as he picked up Sana's school bag- hoping his girlfriend will obey him for once.
"No, Heeseung," Sana speaks, pulling her bag from Heeseung. "I don't want to talk to you anymore."
Heeseung bit the inside of his cheeks as he watch her girlfriend walked away. He followed her with his eyes until she's outside the room, Heeseung has then finally met Jake's gaze again.
The student council was kind enough to turn away silently without any words, giving him the privacy he needs as of the moment. Heeseung kicked the nearest chair as he fought hard to stop the tears from falling off his eyes.

Jake stared at his paper hoping to understand what's missing in his essay that his professor only graded it 98. He was not a perfectionist, the grade don't really affect him that much but he thinks he needs to learn more. His friends would always tell him he's over-doing it, but Jake never believes them. He loves studying and learning- especially something connected to music now.
It's a sudden intuition and interest, music. He took music in college only because he became interested in it last moment after high school. He didn't know anything about it except the basic that he learned in elementary- but now Jake can discuss about music like a pro.
All his knowledge were from books and Jake took music to gain more knowledge and some personal experiences. He's now part of the university band and a member of music club- too far from his child dream of becoming an astronaut.
Jake looks up from his paper to check if he's still taking the right path to his next class, until his eyes went to an open lecture hall. His curious eyes stared a bit longer at the back of a student sitting in the middle of the room.
Heeseung?
As much as Jake wanted to ignore him, his gut feeling told him otherwise. With light steps, Jake approached the second year male.
He carefully puts his handkerchief on the table in front of Heeseung, hands trembling for no reason.
"What now?" The second year male asked, glaring at him.
"Was that an official break up?" Jake asked. "Or are you going to get back together after some time?"
Jake was asking too much, he knew. But he couldn't help himself. He was curious of the reason as well- why did Heeseung allow himself to be in this toxic relationship?
"Don't you have a class?" Jake asked again when Heeseung didn't speak. "I believe you have, I always see you on the room next to mine every tuesday at this time."
Heeseung gave him a weird look.
"What? It's not my fault I have good memory," Jake said, pulling Heeseung up. "Come or I'll report to your professor."
Jake smiled up at the second year male before he started walking away. He looked back to check on Heeseung before he completely walk off the door, seeing as Heeseung has finally started walking as well, following him into the hallway.

Heeseung stared at the screen of his laptop a little longer as he listen to the other line indicating that Sana has probably blocked his number again. He clicked his tongue in annoyance as he throw the phone on his bed, groaning after.
Just as then, Heeseung heard the door beside his room has clicked open. Jake must have arrived. Heeseung's eyes went to the clock and realized it's almost 9 in the evening. His eyes then caught the handkerchief lying on his table- the one which Jake handed to him earlier in the classroom.
There was a name stitched in the corner and clearly, the handkerchief didn't belong to Jake. It's from his boyfriend, Park Sunghoon.
He still remember that one time in high school, when Jake accidentally slipped and told him Sunghoon was his boyfriend. As far as Heeseung is concerned, Sunghoon is already like a celebrity and it is known in the school he's single.
Heeseung was curious...were they really a couple or Jake was only being delusional?
