Chapter 3

"Lukas?"

"Billy? It's you."

Lukas stood up and fixed his shirt.

"Anong ginagawa mo dito?"

"Ma?" It's Red. "Do you know each other?" He asked while looking at the two of them.

Billy smiled a little and nodded her head. She glanced at Red then back to Lukas. "He's the one who helped me during your show, anak."

Rex has seen everything and so he went to them, a bit curious too.

"The one who let you ride his helicopter?" Red asked excitedly. He then looked up to Lukas with a big smile on his face. "Hello!"

"Hi, young man." Lukas greeted him.

"Lukas, mga anak ko pala. This is Red." She placed a hand on Red's shoulder and pulled Rex closer to her. "And this is Rex."

"Are they twins?" The girl who's with Lukas suddenly asked.

Lukas took a glance at her niece before introducing her to them.

"My niece, Kency."

"Is he also the one who let you have Red's guitar, Mama?" Rex asked, still looking at Lukas expectantly.

"Yes, he is."

Rex then beamed and extended his hand to Lukas. "Hello, Mr! My name is Rex."

Lukas chuckled. He liked the boy's pleasant personality . "I'm Lukas. Nice to meet you."

"Di ba you owned that helicopter na sinakyan ni Mama? Will you let us ride it as well?"

"Rex!" Billy cupped her son's mouth, smiling apologetically at Lukas. "Don't mind him. Pasensya ka na. He got so excited when he saw the helicopter kasi eh."

Lukas only smiled at her. He then directed his attention to Rex and told the boy, "Oo naman." ruffling Rex's hair when he beamed.

"Yey! Heard that, Red?" Rex jumped excitedly.

"You play guitar?" Kency suddenly asked Red that made Rex stopped.

Red smiled warmly at Kency, nodding his head.

"Really? I play it too!" And just that, the kids immediately clicked with one another.

"Hanggang kailan kayo dito?" Lukas asked Billy after a while.

"Just for the weekend. Magho-horse back riding lang kami and a little bit of strolling maybe. Eh kayo?"

"I still don't know. We'll just figure it out I guess. Short noticed kasi 'tong outing namin kaya hindi na kami nakapag-plano."He answered but unknown to them, Kency has been listening to their conversation.

"Tito, I also want to go horse back riding. Let's go with them, please."

"Kency.."

"Please, Tito? Pretty please?"

Lukas scratched the back of his head as he looked up to see Billy who was grinning at them.

"It's fine with me. Walang problema." She said that made Kency so happy.

"Sigurado ka?"

"Oo naman. And it's the least I can do for all the things that you have done for me."

Billy smiled warmly at Lukas. What in the odds that she would be meeting the man who have saved her multiple times already, right?

"We'll see you here tomorrow morning na lang. Mauuna na kami."

"Of course. See you tomorrow." Lukas gestured his niece to say goodbye to Billy and her kids who did the same before leaving the two of them.
