I wake up to see my dad lying next to me and I've never been more confused. I push him to wake him up and he stares at me and wipes his eyes. Dog jumps off the bed and into the kitchen and we hear a bang on the cupboard his food is in.
"I'm coming" Dad says getting up to feed the dog
I check the time on my phone and see it says 9:49 and I think why the fuck am I up this early
"You got boxing today" I hear him yell from the kitchen
"Yeah" I mumble
"What time is it again" he asks
"Starts at 5"

I check my phone to see if I got any notifications. Just one great.

I roll over and click on it to see what noah wants. Noah is this boy I met in school who now works with me at Kyle's bar which is the name of the bar we now work at. I work at Kyle's bar usually on Mondays and Tuesdays and sometimes Thursdays, work at my dads mechanic whenever and I work at hooters practically all the time. My mum always works at hooters but not the same one I work at.

I get out of bed and stroll to the kitchen. I eat some watermelon and a croissant which makes me think of that one time with Marley.
"Are you not working today" I ask him
"I could ask you the same question" he says
"I told you kyles got rats" I say
"Oh well no I'm not working. Merles coming down later" he says
"Fuck off is he actually" I say slamming the fridge shut
"Yeah"
"Fuck yes" "what time"
"Some time in the evening" he says
"Ayeee oh also my friend Noah's coming round this evening remember him the one I work with who went school with me"
"I know the one"

The day passed and we just did practically nothing and it was 3:39 so I decided to start getting ready for boxing. I throw on a pair of grey joggers my new adidas socks and a gym crop top that's long sleeved and makes my tits look massive. To be fair my joggers do compliment my arse quite well as well. I put my trainers on and tie my laces. I grab a hoodie and put it on. I go into the kitchen and grab a bottle of water and a red bull from the fridge before grabbing my backpack and leaving.
"I'm going boxing" I say as I walk out the door
I have twenty minutes to get there so I shouldn't be late if the buses are on time.
I put my headphones in listening to so sick and hop on the bus and sit in my spot at the back by the window.

I get to boxing and walk straight to the back to put my stuff in a locker. I take my wraps and gloves out along with my water and I went back round to the front.
"There's my girl Edie" archie says happy to see me
"Ello Ello" I say as he pats me of the back
I see Alden look up at us and smirk a little
Bit dodge but whatever
"Where's your wraps" coach says
"Shit forgot to put them on" I say grabbing them
"Come here I'll put them on" Alden says
I walk over to him and hand him my wraps
"This hand first" he says nodding towards my left hand
"K" I say holding it out for him
He starts to wrap it round my left hand and I stand there awkwardly biting my lip and looking around to make myself feel more comfortable.
"Why you looking round like it's your first time here" coach says being a dickhead
"I dunno" I laugh and look back down at my hand
He's almost finished as he holds further down my arm to wrap the Velcro on my wrist which low-key gave me the chills.
"Done other hand" he says grabbing my hand from my side
He starts wrapping it around my right hand and does the same thing on my arm when he wraps the velcro.
"All done" he says looking up at me
"Thanks" I say walking back to my stuff
"Alden come help me with this for a minute" Archie says as he holds the tyres
"Yeah" Alden says jogging over
"Edie grab the other end and help Alden" he says to me
I give him a look and tilt my head before walking over to help them
"Right I have to let go for a second so I can move" Archie says
"Alden let go a minute"
"Um no this is gonna legit squash me and kill me if you both let go" I say "I may look strong yeah but I really ain't" I say genuinely panicking
They both laugh and then help me again.
"Right let's go" coach says starting off the session

We start off with some skipping then some quick weights work then we get into the boxing
"Gloves on" Archie yells
"Edes help the younger ones with their gloves" he says to me
The classes I go to either consist of little kids and teenagers or grown adults that are usually professional boxers. Not that I ain't practically professional myself but i still get scared shitless round them.
I help the kids with their gloves and we go back to it. I basically do whatever I want in these lessons or I just help out and coach, but Alden and Archie always be wanting me to spar.
There's a few people I know that are my age here today and coach paired me up with this boy Daniel he's fairly good. As me and Daniel are sparring I feel hands grab my arms from behind and feel a body close on mine from behind
"Don't drop your hands"
A voice says in my ear. It's alden. I nod and he lets go as I go to throw a punch.
"There we go good" he says smiling with his arms crossed. "You" he says to Daniel "go be on one of the bags I'm gonna take her"

Shit what the fuck. Alden brings his arms up into a boxing stance and starts jumping round. "Don't drop them" he reminds me
"I wont" I say
"Right. jab" I jab him
"Cross" I Cross him
"Double Jab cross slip slip uppercut hook" I do as he says and we continue sparring for a while he starts throwing in some punches and I make sure to dodge them. Coach comes over and watches us for a while "don't make it easy on her" he says and laughs I smile and go faster and Alden starts to throw more punches. "Don't look so nervous Edie punch him back" Archie says crossing his arms
I go in for a few punches but Alden defends them
"Use your height" I hear Archie say
Alden starts laughing and I realise he's enjoying this a bit too much so when he drops his guard I punch him right in the gut and it winds him a little and we stop sparring
They both laugh and coach high fives me
"Yes Edie"
Alden laughs and spuds me

When the sessions finished I go to my locker and start packing up my stuff when Alden comes out of nowhere.
"You did well" he says leaning his back on the lockers next to me
"I'm not letting that punch slide though" squinting his eyes at me
I laugh
"So where you going now" he says looking me up and down stopping at my feet first then my boobs, my lips and back to my eyes
I squint my eyes at him then speak
"Just going home my uncles come over"
"Nice"
I get my phone out and go on snap since I have a notification from Marley and I wanna see what she wants but his nosey arse looks over and decided to shoot his shot
"You've got snap then" he says walking over to my shoulder and putting his hand on me as he looks over at my phone
"Well yeah"
"What is it then" he says grabbing my phone to check my snap
"Edielee27 now give" I say snatching my phone back and sort of laughing
"I'll add you" he says getting his phone out to do it
"Who said you could add me" I say
"Me" he says
I squint at him again without him realising and add him back
"I'll see you later then" I say walking off
"Bye Archie" I say walking out
"Bye Edie good work" Archie says
