"I'm just confused why you seem to act different towards me. Cause yeah, Blondie told me you don't usually share food. So why with me?" Wooyoung stated his thoughts, no specific tone to his voice.

Yeosang titled his head in the opposite direction, taking a few steps out of the confinement of the counter space.

"You and I are a bit more similar than I would've thought." Yeosang stated vaguely, now walking past Wooyoung to the door. "It's not sympathy that I'm showing, but...I just think you may deserve a bit more of a warm welcoming."

Not even a second later Yeosang disappeared from sight, the door to the kitchen thrown wide open. That comment left Wooyoung even more confused, but he tried not to think to deep into it at least for right now. Priorities changed when San's head poked around the corner, his expression just as confused as Wooyoung's.

"Everything okay in here?" San questioned, walking into the kitchen to stand before the hunter. "I saw Yeosang run away...did you say something to him?"

From his tone it was obvious San was insinuating Wooyoung did something wrong, which he scoffed at.

"Yeah everything's fine. I don't know why he ran off." Wooyoung stated, moving to walk past San, only the vampire caught his arm and held him in place. "What?"

"I just wanted to tell you that Hongjoong liked that jacket you helped me pick out." San smiled as he gave the brief explanation, only adding a laugh afterwards. "About time I gave it to him."

"Oh, cool." Wooyoung didn't know how to respond, giving a smile before dropping it almost immediately. "Are you doing stuff right now?"

San hummed, looking over his shoulder at the open door. "Depends, why are you asking?"

Wooyoung snickered, moving his arm out of San's hold with a sudden pull. The vampire pouted at the lack of contact but Wooyoung didn't pay attention to it.

"I wanted to go outside again. Figured you wouldn't let me go out without you being there." Wooyoung stated while shrugging his shoulders, trying to walk around San again but was stopped in the same exact way.

"We can go out for a bit, but not for long. The others could really use some extra help." San claimed, scratching the back of his head with his free hand.

"You don't have to come out with me." Wooyoung reminded, again shaking his arm out of San's hold.

"I know, but I want to." San smiled, happily returning his hand to his side as he walked out of the kitchen.

With a sigh Wooyoung followed the vampire out of the kitchen. His steps were noticeably slower than San's, who was walking directly towards the main entrance.

"I'll be outside with Wooyoung!" San exclaimed, already pushing the front door open as he looked over his shoulder towards the three who were still congregated over in the corner.

"Seriously? You aren't helping anymore?" Jongho was the one that spoke up in a defeated tone. The vampire then lowered his head, meekly stating that his head hurt.

That tone made the vampire seem kind of pathetic, which had Wooyoung lowering his brows. He could only think how this was the first time seeing any kind of weakness from Jongho, who on all other occasions when they've crossed paths, put off an intimidating and powerful aura.

"I was going to come back in in like twenty, maybe thirty minutes." San explained, sounding more sympathetic. He took a few steps away from the door and towards the three with a frown.

"Yeah, Hongjoong maybe we should take a break too." Seonghwa looked to the mentioned as he spoke tiredly. "We've been at it for hours and have gotten nowhere."
