Sara’s POV
I got all of my showering and stuff done and quickly touched up my natural curly hair. I had on a white skull tank top and a black and white pattern skirt. My shoes were light green ballet flats.
“Sara,babe?” Owen walked in my room.
“What?” I replied sitting at my vanity.
“Ready?” He showed up in my mirror. A smile spread across his face. “You’re so beautiful”
“Why thank you.” I turned around and smiled at him as he lent down for a kiss. “What movie did you pick?”
“Oz, the Great and Powerful or Warm Bodies. You’re choice sweetheart.”
“Warm Bodies, zombies are such a turn on.” I winked before bursting out in laughter. Owen laughed right along with me. “Lets go” I kissed his cheek and grabbed his hand, pulling him out of my room and to my car.

“Hey look! Theres the dweeb!” A jock from Owen and I’s school called to us. Then when he saw our hands intertwined, he looked to the guy next to him, “What’s he doing holding the new hot chick’s hand?” I wanted to punch him. Nobody makes fun of Owen. Nobody,except for me,but I’m just joking when I do it. I let go of Owen and walked over to the jocks.
“Excuse me? Owen is not a dweeb, he his an amazing human being. He makes me laugh and he doesn’t freak out on others if they do something wrong. He’s the kind of guy that is the complete opposite of guys like you. So don’t you go making fun of my boyfriend, because you’re jealous that he is such a better person than you.” With that, I walked back to Owen, grabbing his hand and walking out of the movie theater. He pulled me to a stop when we reached the car.
“Nobody has ever done anything like that for me. Why did you do that?” He looked me straight in the eye.
“Because you are my best friend, my boyfriend, and you're worth fighting for.” I shrug as if it was nothing.
“Sara,” He paused. “I love you. Don’t forget that, but now we’re going to miss our movie.”
“Lets do something else, like go eat? I’m starving.” I smiled and jumped in the driver’s side.
