Part 25 - The Totally Useful Plan

(Jenna)"Can't tell."

They whisper, Phoebe looking at the phone

(Phoebe)"The girls are getting lured towards the office, poor ol' Mario seems to have drawn the short stick in being the bait"

She says, showing the two the main room cam where Mario was being followed by most of the girls and running them back towards the office

(Kyle)"I guess it's our turn soon then huh"

(Phoebe)"not yet. Need the power to get lower before then. We don't need you two getting grabbed while we're taking care of VANNIE"

She says, moving around and getting comfortable

(Phoebe)"So now, tell me a little about how Mangle became more like her name sake?"

She says, Kyle sighing

(Kyle)"Fine. We built a new area, and after putting up a half dozen fans I used bad screws in one of them. Too small and too few, you know the drill. BB tried to pull a little prank on Mangle using a load of confetti on the blade of the fan, putting too much weight on it. Then, as it turned on, the fan fell on her."

He says, Kyle's face dropping as he remembered the dread he felt while looking at the mess that was Mangle, hearing the anger and sorrow in the yells of everyone as they argued about how to help her

(Kyle)"Then Ibuki and a couple others remade her, but they weren't able to really fix her. Her body has some permanent damage, especially to her voicebox. That's why she's mute now"

(Phoebe)"Fascinating that she was rebuilt in such a way. Her personality also seems quite different from the records I read about her"

She says, Kyle shrugging as the phone buzzed

(Phoebe)"Well, the powers draining hard. Won't be long now before the girls will notice and set up camp"

She says taking a deep breath as she pulls out the USB

(Phoebe)"And here I was hoping I'd never have to use this"

(Jenna)"Yeah. At least Kyle gave you an opportunity"

(Kyle)"Jenna, not right fucking now okay?"

He says, Jenna staring daggers back at him

(Phoebe)"Oh stop bickering. You sound like little kids. We need you cooperating if this plan will actually work"

(Kyle & Jenna)"Fine"

They say together as they both look at the phone, the girls all just congregated around the doors to the office

(Phoebe)"Now's our time. Look alive"

She says, opening the vent and jumping down in front of VANNIE with the other two

(Vannie)"Oh hey, you came down finally"

She says as she looks around the room at them, landing her eyes on Jenna

(Vannie)"Oh hey Jen, hows it going?"

(Jenna)"We've got the girls all ready to get wiped of you, and at that point it's you against everyone. Why not just give up?"

She says, Vannie looking at her and sighing

(Vannie)"Hold on a moment, I'm gonna think about that"

She says as she leans back and stops talking. Seemingly deep in thought as the trio just look at eachother

Vannie lifts her head back up off the chair behind her, looking over towards Jenna

(Vannie)"Fine. If you insist they'll listen, you can convince them"
