Part 25 - The Totally Useful Plan

(Kyle)"I'm gonna have to disagree on that thought. She kicked Blue so hard in the face his faceplate cracked"

(Phoebe)"That's, mildly worrying. No matter, as long as you surprise her I'm sure we can get it plugged in in time"

She says, shrugging

(Phoebe)"we won't have to do it through a headlong charge either, setting an ambush will be our advantage"

She says, Kyle and Jenna nodding along as everyone yawns

(Mario)"Should we get some rest now?"

He says, Kyle shrugging and gesturing towards the hall

(Kyle)"Sleep wherever you need to. I've got extra blankets in the closet and pillows too. Have at them.

He says, everyone claiming spots to sleep as Kyle just grabs a blanket off the couch and lays it down on the ground, laying down and closing his eyes to sleep

After a longer sleep than expected on the floor, Kyle wakes up to the dark living room of the apartment and sees his alarm about to go off, deciding to use this opportunity to wake everyone up

Kyle waits for the alarm to start and walks around the rooms as it goes off, getting everyone woken up as he sits back down on the couch to wait

It takes a couple minutes but everyone makes it into the front room, all looking around for someone to say something

(Mario)"I'd say we get moving sooner rather than later as long as everyone's ready. We need to get them before something worse happens"

He says, everyone nodding along as Phoebe packs her stuff up and loads it into Jenna's car, everyone but Kyle piling in

(Jenna)"See ya at the club"

She says, driving off as Kyle walks to his car with his head thinking lightly

(Kyle)"Driving to cure my friend of a virus that has her enslaved to lust. Listen to music on the way or not?"

He says, rubbing his chin as he starts towards the club.

Kyle arrives to the club in silence, mind busy with possibilities and problems that could arrise

(Kyle)"you all ready for this?"

He says as he meets up with everyone outside, everyone just looking around and giving various shrugs and head shakes

They all walk inside, going towards the office to start

(Phoebe)"Hey Mangle, before you start working assistant night guard I need you to help us with transport. If you can use some of those cams to track down Ibuki and get us over her before you get to work that would be great"

She says as Mangle gives a thumbs up with a grin

Riley, Mario, and Mangle pile into the office and begin scanning the cams, Mangle quickly grabbing a phone and handing it to Phoebe. Mangle then jumps up towards the vent, crawling inside and pulling in the three in charge of handling Ibuki

Mangle looks at the phone she gave Phoebe, grabbing the three before gliding through the vent gracefully towards somewhere, the rooms blending together as Kyle attempts to orient himself in the building

Mangle stops and points at the vent grate, Vannie down below sitting in a beanbag chair with her hand on her cheek and her elbow on a little side table beside her

Mangle waves goodbye and scampers back towards the office, leaving the three in wait

(Kyle)"Is she expecting us to ambush her?"
