"And Im Lady Lesso, Dean of the School for Evil" the people on the Evils side start chanting also- "Kill you! Kill you! Kill you!" i wince quietly as i look to Sophie, i smiled as she looked at me also.
Professor Dovey taps her cane loudly multiple times "As per tradition, the winning school from last year...Us again. Imagine that!" Lady Lesso mutters "Hmm. Imagine.." "..Will now grace us all with a display of their chivalrous talents. Gentlemen!" she taps her cane loudly once more
A load of boys with swords start walking in, some on the left and some on the right, leaving space in the middle. The girls again on my side were cheering as they made their way in. The 'Evils' were booing, jeering and mocking as the cheering on my side grew louder.
The boys stopped and faced each other, pulling out their swords and fight each other- well i wouldn't call it a fight, just some play fighting i guess?
Some ginger boy loses his grip on his sword and runs to grab it, he looks up at me and smiles, quickly running back into position.
They all get into some formation and shout. The Evers cheered and the Nevers jeered. The boys threw roses and as expected, i got 0- not too worried about it though as i barely know anyone here yet.
Someone whistles and everyone looks up at where the sound came from. Some boy was holding onto a rope while standing on the balcony "If you boys are finished with your dance class, maybe you'd like to have a real fight. What do you say?" He swung down as people around me gasped. He slid down the clear way in the middle and lets go of the rope, standing up and looking at the boys.
The girl beside me squealed "Its Tedros!"
The boys all drew their swords once again, as 'Tedros' slid his back into its sheath, getting into a fighting stance and beckoning them to come to him "You know what? Lets make it easy for you." The boys yell "Charge!" and ran forward towards Tedros.
Tedros beat them all as if it was light work as the girls cheered. "Nice work, fellas-" Somebody from the Nevers side spoke up out of no where "Lets see how you do in a real fight, pretty boy. Prepare to die" A cyclops dude stood up and took one of the guards' axes.
TIME SKIP
After that whole fiasco, the fight was finally done. Everyone clapped and Tedros pulled out a rose. "Look-" he suddenly stopped for a second, and accidentally threw his rose.
Everyone gasped- including me as it landed on my lap. He quickly turned around and walked towards me "Excuse me, milady. I believe uh-" i frowned "That i dont belong here? Yeah, I know." I picked up his rose and held it out to him "Don't want your stupid rose anyway- Oh, and by the way, this is what a normal girl looks like-" The girl from before snatches the rose out of my hand, i looked at her "He intended it for me. Normal girl..There's an open seat next to me, Teddy." i frowned more and turned back around, facing my lap. "And, for the record, you dont know what I was about to say, but...Nice try" he smiled at me and chuckled, moving to sit next to the girl. "What did he smell like?" i deadpanned "Ego." the girl giggled.
"In these two schools, we will take away any confusion and make your souls as pure as possible. Pure Good-" "or pure Evil" "Future heroes and villains, you have been chosen to protect and maintain the balance between Good and Evil. For if that balance is ever compromised-" "I don't think we need to get into that just now with our new friends, do we?" An old-ish man had appeared from seemingly no where, wearing a blue silky robe.
"Its such a happy first day. Lets not be downers now, hmm? Besides im sure this new class will perform exceptionally well. And like your parents before you, you are all here because, the world of story needs great heroes and villains to teach the people of the outside world to make choices to find their way- So, obey the tules, study hard, and remember, the Storian only chooses the very bests of our students for their own adventure." Sophie stood up "But what if we've been dropped at the wrong school?"
i decided to stand up too, not enjoying this new environment entirely "Or there's been a mistake and we need to go home immediately?" he looks at us both as Dovey gasped
"There are no mistakes in the School for Good and Evil, so..Have a nice semester" he turned around gracefully and walked off.
Me and Sophie look at each other, wide eyed.
TIME SKIP
After finally finding my dorm, i found out soon enough i was with the brats. They ended up leaving and locking me inside. I walked to the bathroom, looking in the mirror "This is..Messed up" I splash some water in my face and walk to the balcony. Stepping up on it and slowly but steadily making my way to the other school.
SKIP AGAIN (sorry :( )
I ran to the Evil school after witnessing some dude surrounded with blood.
I look up to see Sophie nearly get pushed off a balcony "Sophie!" she looks down at me "Y/N!" she ran out the room and down to me "Y/N, hey." "Come-" "Wait, where are we going?" "to get you out of here."
ANOTHER TIME SKIP CAUSE YK
I wake up and everyone greets each other "Good morning, Y/N" i sigh and fall back on the bed, everyone else giggles and changes into their clothes and leave, i wait till they were gone and got changed, looking into the mirror, sorting out my hair slightly and leaving the room, keeping to myself as i walked towards some room, sitting down on a stray table. The girls from before sitting down around me.
I sat down on a spare seat and groaned. Looking out the window at the boys, i turn to the girl in-front of me "Psst." She turned around, i pointed outside at some dude with long hair "Who's that?- Dark..Dark hair"
"Tristan. I caught his rose! I hope he invites me to the evers ball. You have to get a boy to ask you or you fail." A girl from beside me began to speak "And you do not want to fails. Three fails, and you're expelled." "Wait, You mean they kick you out?" "Uh..." "No.." the girl in-front began "They actually turn you into something else." "Like a talking tea kettle, or a mouse or something much worse" "Wait, like forever? What?"
A woman walked in "Bring it down, girls. I am Professor Anemone, and i am here to show you how to become a truly powerful woman, through beauty." The girls began opening their desks, which became mirrors. I rushed to join in "A lady's smile is a sword in the battle for life and true love. So, pick up your mirrors...And strike!" She began greeting people throughout the class and i learnt that the blondie name was Beatrix. I shut my mirror "I'm sorry. This just feels so wrong." The teacher turns to look at me "Smiling? Thats how you're empowering us?" "Smiling is a strict requirement for passing this course. So, show me your smile if you don't want to fail" I sighed and picked up the mirror again "My smile?" she nodded. I tried smiling but got interrupted "I don't feel safe" Beatrix said and everyone began to laugh. The woman looked at me as if to say 'Ignore them, just do it' . So i tried it and immediately got a fail "Wait what is that?" "A fail, Reader." "Wait you're..You're failing me for being a bad smiler?" She looked at me "Yeah. Let's get to work" everyone laughed.
I sighed. I already know this is going to be hell.
