Hunter: "You all right?"
Wrecker: "Yeah, yeah. It's nothing."
Slowly standing up he walked past me so he could lay down on his bed for a bit. Those headaches were getting too often.
Tech: "According to Cid's intel, the Zygerrian slave trades are hiding in the ruins of Old Ord Mantell city."
Me: "What's a slave trader?"
Tech: "Someone who buys and sells people for credits."
Me: "People can be sold?"
I asked in shock. I was never told that people could be sold for credits.
Echo: "They don't have a choice. They're captives treated like property."
Me: "That...doesn't seem right."
Echo: "It's not. And we are going to stop it from happening to that kid."
Tech: "As well as earn a decent amount of credits once the job is complete."
Eacho: "Yeah, that too."
With that, he left to check on Wrecker. I placed the crystal against my chest. Who can do something like this?
Hunter: "Luna."
I turned to look at him. He was sitting on a chair next to me on my right. His left hand was resting on some console as right hand was resting on his leg. The look that he gave me I could see what he was thinking off.
Me: "I was never told that someone could be sold like that. I feel stupid."
Hunter: "You are not stupid Luna."
With a long sigh, I looked away from him. As Echo and Tech landed we all stepped out of the ship. The wind was gently touching my skin as the sun was shining bright. I followed the guys to the end of the cliff where they were able to see the base of the captures. So I could see better Tech gave me a pair of binoculars.
Tech: "I have a visual."
He said and I followed his finger where I was able to see the captured people that were surrounded by bad guys. Seeing the chains around their necks and hands brought something that I had never felt before. Was that anger?
Tech: "I only see one child."
Me: "She's so scared."
Hunter: "Don't worry Luna. We will rescue them."
Tech: "I'm clocking two dozen hostiles. Multiple entry points with minor fortification."
Wrecker: "Simple smash and grab like that time on Kuat. Easy enough."
Me: "Alright. How are we doing this?"
I asked as I removed the binoculars and looked back at the guys.
Hunter: "You get back on the ship."
Me: "What? But-"
Hunter: "That's an order."
With that, all of them walked past me and began to go down the hill. With another long sigh, I turned around and began to walk back towards the ship. I could help them but it looked like they didn't want my help.
Hunter's POV
Coming closer to the base I stopped the boys from going forwards so I could look around for any enemy. When there were none I nodded my head for them to continue walking. I know that maybe I should let Luna come with us but I didn't want something to happen to her. Stopping again I looked back at the guys.
Me: "Echo, you're the eyes in the sky."
He nodded and went on his pose.
Me: "Wrecker, draw the Zygerrian forces out. Tech and I will grab the kid."
Wrecker: "Not a problem."
Coming a little forwards with Tech and Wrecker I placed my hand aside so I could call up Echo.
Me: "Echo, sitrep. Two roving patrols, on speeders."
I said as I saw two of them driving past us on the road.
Me: "First guard checkpoint dead ahead."
Echo: "Hang on. I think I've got company."
Me: "Well, take care of it. Quickly."
Suddenly guting was heard and before we knew it Echo had fallen on the ground from his watch tower.
Tech: "Watch out!"
