Chapter 4

Juliette's POV

As I got into Alex's car I couldn't help but feel giddy, which is weird because I should probably feel nervous about hanging out with Luke later right? Hmm, maybe Jason's giddy about practice, whenever he's extra any emotion I can feel it. I don't really know how to explain it I guess it's a twin thing.

As I arrived home and said goodbye to Alex all I could think about is wow I must look a wreck after school today. It was 3:20 so I had some time before Luke got here, as I walked up the stairs to my room I could've sworn I heard the back door open, but I must've just been hearing things because our house alarm would've beeped if the door opened.

Jason's POV

As each brother arrived I couldn't help but almost feel bad about surprising Juliette like this, she was my best friend and I knew she was going to be mad at us for this. But I mean she is my little sister, granted by only 3 minutes but I just want her to be careful. She interrogates just about every girl any of me and my brothers have ever brought home. It was around 3:40 when all my brothers had finally arrived home, we waited in the kitchen so it would take Juliette a good minute to figure out we were here and oh what a surprise that would be. We honestly weren't normally home until maybe 6:00 or 7:00, when it came to extra curricular activities my brothers and I gave it our all. Juli never really liked sports and that's okay I mean her art was amazing!!

Juliette's POV

As 4:00 came closer I couldn't help but feel excited and nervous and giddy and filled with thoughts of the unknown. The doorbell rang and I was quick to get off the couch and go greet Luke. I opened the door and was met with a smiley Luke. "Hey Juliette, I brought you these flowers mainly because you were so extremely nice to me all day and are now being even nicer and showing me how your school works when really you don't have to do any of this!" I couldn't contain the huge smile on my face. "Wow, that is honestly so thoughtful of you! Sunflowers are my favorite too! Come in, I'll just have to go get these some water in the kitchen". And with that I led him to the kitchen not knowing what surprise was waiting for us both there.
