Chapter 3 Enough!

Start from the beginning

However...she wasn't the only one who's had enough and headed toward Lilith. Mike flew to his owner while squawking loudly.

As soon as Belos spotted the bird, smirked to himself. This felt familiar...

"I should have done this a long time ago," he said to himself, both voices mixing together, reaching his hand to the white raven in an attempt to grab him.

One annoying bird down and time for another...

Mike Socks was within his reach when...

Smack!

Belos' arm was hit with a baseball bat at full force, splattering all over the place. Camila was just in time to interfere, revealing herself due to her heavy breath. She couldn't do anything to help Flapjack before, but she could save Mike Socks now...

At the impact, a glyph on the bat activated, and the piece of paper transformed into a small ice cube that fell to the ground. Belos could only laugh at that. It was truly pathetic.

"Honestly, the fact that you of all people are trying to save the witch that almost killed your daughter," he taunted her. Camila's grip on the bat tightened; just from his teasing expression it was clear that he was about to continue, but something else caught his attention.

The ice cube burst into a blob-like shape and suddenly expanded, reaching Lilith's shins. Belos quickly found out that he couldn't move them; he was frozen. The blob grew bigger, but thankfully, before it could reach Camila or Mike as they struggled to react, the two of them were yanked back by Darius' abomination magic.

"Are you alright?" he asked her as he freed her and the palisman and helped her up.

"As much as I could be," she admitted before glancing at Belos who punched the ice several times to break it, but to no avail, "what is-"

"What is this?!" Belos shouted.

"Oh, it's just my little creation," Eda replied, a teasing smirk across her face, "the super glyph!"

Belos groaned in frustration as he proceeded to attack the ice, but still with no luck. He was about to reach into the pocket once more for some glyphs to help him when the ice spread higher.

"Stop!" he yelled as he hit the ice one last time. The others didn't react. They didn't care until...

"Edalyn, make it stop! Please!" Lilith's voice pleaded. Shivers ran down Eda and Hooty's spines just hearing her voice in such panic.

"Lulu!" Hooty yelped worriedly while Eda pulled a glyph combo out of her hair, ready to set her sister free, the only thing keeping her from doing so was the white raven's squawking.

"Not Lily! Not Lily!" Mike kept repeating–she was one of the few to understand him.

What did he mean? This was her voice. This was Lily calling for help, wasn't it? No... Eda looked into her sister's eyes, seeing what the palisman meant. It might've been her voice, but it wasn't her in control. Instead of those mismatched eyes that were still full of guilt, a pair of cold blue eyes stared back at her. Just like with Raine, those eyes were an indicator of Belos' control.

"Hootsifer! Help me!" Lilith's voice called out, more desperate than before.

"I'm coming, Lulu!" Hooty exclaimed and shot forward, although, as soon as he did Eda grabbed him with her one arm, stopping him.

"Hooty, wait!" The house demon looked up at her visibly angry, but also scared. "This isn't her!" Eda continued, "look at her eyes." He did just as she told him to and to his dismay she was right. This wasn't his best friend. "Belos can mimic the voice of the body he's in."
