I huffed a sigh as I brushed the sand off of my hands. My eyebrows furrowed when I felt some of the grains stuck under my fingernails, it was a horrible feeling and it made me want to aggressively wash my hands.

I then dusted my trousers for any loose sand that had stuck to my clothes. I had been helping some of the villagers to dig a trench for the explosives.

The trench was now complete and the explosives were active and in place. I looked up towards where Din and Cobb were standing and noticed that Din's visor was looking in my direction, though it was difficult to tell if he was looking at me or not.

I walked up the sandy bank and headed in the direction of the two men. I kicked up some sand as I headed in their direction. I could definitely feel some sand inside my boots, which almost made me want to sit down and pull them off.

I walked over to Din and stood next to him. He acknowledged me with a gentle nod as I leant up against the speeder bike.

I looked down at my hands and began to try and get the sand off of them again. The feeling of the grains under my nails was slowly driving me insane.

I was so absorbed in trying to get the sand off of my hands and my clothes that I didn't notice one of the villagers walking up to us.

"Careful, Marshal." The woman said. I glanced up and saw a villager handing Cobb Vanth the detonator for the bomb.

"Thank you, Jo. And you stay safe, huh."
Cobb Vanth said in return as the woman walked away.

I pushed myself off of the speeder bike and stood next to Din. My heart rate spiked slightly when I realised that it was time for us to put the plan Into action.

I watched onward with my heart in my throat as the surrounding area fell into silence. The Tuskens stood behind large crossbows that had been set up around the cave entrance.

Three brave Tuskens made their way over to the mouth of the cave. They held large spears in their hands and I honestly didn't know how they were brave enough to do it. I think I would walk up to that cave and pass out. The large, dark pit was unnecessarily ominous.

The three Tuskens then raised their hands to their mouths and began to yell into the cave, trying to wake the sleeping dragon.

I could hear their yells echo into the dark tunnel. I held my breath as my chest tightened with anticipation. A growl came from within the cave in response to the Tuskens' call. I inhaled sharply at the sound.

The three Tuskens turned on their heels and began to run as fast as they could towards the rest of the group. My hands shook with adrenaline as I willed them to get back to the others.

The roars of the Krayt dragon got louder and the ground began to rumble. In a moment of panic, I dropped my hand to the side and clutched onto Din's wrist. He tensed up and I quickly let go, not wanting to make him uncomfortable. But before I could bring my hand away from him, his hand clasped onto mine and held it in place. He squeezed my hand gently in reassurance and I felt myself relax slightly.

I could see the head of the Krayt Dragon rising out of the sandy ground now. It was like it was swimming through it. The sand was pushed upwards as the creature began to surface.

The large maw of the dragon rose up from the sand. I could see its massive, sharp teeth as it chased after the three Tuskens.

It raised its entire mouth out of the sand and let out a deafening roar. I flinched slightly as the sound reverberated through my body.

The Tusken raiders yelled out and began to fire massive sharp arrows at the dragon. Two of the arrows wedged themselves Into the dragon's soft gums. A wire was attached to each of the arrows. More arrows continued to fly at the dragon, lodging themselves In parts of its mouth.
