"It's the contract we talked about last time. Are you really sure about this, kuya?"

Lukas will enter the fashion industry. Not technically though but Natasha, who owned a clothing line offered him a partnership by providing her company the machineries that she needed since she will be opening her tenth branch already that means she needs to increase the volume of her products as well.

"If you're just doing this because you likes her—"

"Alam mong hindi ako ganyan magtrabaho, Androu. At pwede ba? Nothing is going on between us."

Androu raised a brow at him. "Nothing?" He took the seat across him and looked at him incredulously. "You're fucking her tapos nothing?"

Lukas tossed him a glare which Androu only answered with a laugh.

"Sabagay. Natasha's not a girlfriend material. Ang arte kaya ng babaeng 'yon."

He didn't mind Androu's remarked and just signed the papers that he needed.

"Alam mo ba kuya, she—aray ko naman." Androu rubbed his temple. "Teka!"

Lukas threw him another crumpled paper. "Lumayas ka na nga dito. Kalalaki mong tao napakachismoso mo!" He then threw the documents to Androu which he almost didn't caught.

"Sinasabi ko lang eh. Eto na!" He ran to the door when Lukas picked up a small figurine on his table. Lukas even heard his brother cursing in silence as he left his office.

Lukas shook his head in disbelief. His brother still acts like a child sometimes.

After a while his secretary came in his office with a phone.

"Sir, si Mam Claire po tumatawag."

"Bakit? Akin na."

Claire had called to tell him that Kency locked herself in her room and she needed his help to console her. Claire told him that Kency's Dad called her before she locked herself in. She had no idea why.

"Okay. I'll be there."

He saw Claire standing outside's Kency's door when he arrived.

"Kanina pa siya dito?" He asked, rubbing the small of her sister's back.

"Ayaw lumabas."

"Kency?" Lukas knocked on the door. "Kency, my love? It's tito Lukas."

They heard soft footsteps and then the doorknob being twisted. Kency opened the door for him.

"Tito." She threw herself into his embrace and cried silently.

"Ssshh. What happened?"

Lukas carried Kency to sit on her bed. He wiped off Kency's tears and asked her again.

"Daddy called. Hindi na daw kami tuloy. He promised me we'd go out of town for my birthday. He's a liar, tito."

"Sssh. Kency, no. That's not true. Your daddy loves you so much as much as I do. Don't say that, okay?" He rubbed her back hugged her.

"Alam mo ba? Your tito Androu did the same to me."

"Tito Androu?"

"Hmn. Sabi niya pupunta kami sa La Union pero alam mo ba kung anong ginawa ng tito Androu mo?"

"What did he do, tito?"

"He ditched our plan. But you know what I did? Instead of getting mad about it, I drove my car at tinuloy ko yong trip namin ng mag-isa. What about we just go together this time?"

Kency's face immediately lit up. She smiled and told Lukas she'd love to. "I know you're just making it up, tito but approve." She even gave him a thumbs up that made him cracked. He had no idea that his niece's knew it was a lie.
