"You have a photoshoot at 11 today. Then a meeting with the production team at 2 in the afternoon. The rest of they, you're free."
"Good."
"Oo nga pala, Ma'am. May nahanap na akong bagong assistant niyo. She'll be here for the interview."
"Is she good?"
Anna handed her a cup of coffee and a couple of papers. "She is. She was my classmate in college. She's smart and very diligent."
"Since you recommended it, okay." Then her boss's looked at her. "No kids, right? You know I don't like to hire an assistant with kids. I'm the priority, remember?" she didn't even let Anna answer her question and just left.
Just in time, Billy arrived. She saw her at the lobby talking with the receptionist.
"Billy!" Anna called.
"Anna! Oh my god!" Billy walked to her, giving her s quick hug. "Thank you talaga sa tulong mo."
"No worries. What are friends are for right? Pero bago ang lahat." Anna told Billy about what her boss's told her earlier. She had no idea that it's one of the qualification or requirement for the job.
"Hindi mo naman sinabing wala akong anak, di ba?" Billy asked worriedly and Anna shook her head. She didn't lied but she didn't also said anything.
"Just don't mention it, okay? At hindi niya naman malalamang may anak ka. Just don't say anything. You need this job, I know kaya wag mo na lang banggitin."
"Anna, I don't want to—"
"Anna!"
The two of them turned around when they heard someone calling Anna.
"Yes, Ma'am?"
"Can you get the documents in my office?"
"Yes, Ma'am. By the way, this is Billion Anne Sanchez. Billy for short. The applicant." Anna introduced them to each other.
"My boss, Natasha Elizarde."
"Good morning, Ma'am." Billy greeted the beautiful woman. "I'm here for the interview."
Natasha only looked at her from head to toe before saying, "You're hired. Magstart ka na ngayon. Halika." She then walked in the conference room, gesturing for her to follow her inside.
Billy looked at Anna confusedly who just gave her a thumbs up and told her to follow her boss inside.
