She shook her head, smiling embarrassingly at her sister. "I was so lost, okay? Nagpapanick na ako kanina. I'm on the verge of breaking down if not because of him."
"Exactly my point! At hindi mo man lang tinanong ang pangalan niya? How will you be able to thank him properly and pay for the money he lent you?"
Billy shrugged off her shoulder. The man only told her that he would get to her somehow. She doesn't know how, but he seemed to be so sure about it.
"I don't know."
"Pero teka, ate. Gwapo ba talaga siya?"
Billy laughed at his sister's query. She told her that the man was very good looking. Come to think of it, she didn't really had the chance to properly see his face up close. Except maybe on that time when he rolled down the car's window to see her.
"Tapos sobrang yaman? Ate, what if gusto ka niya?"
"What are you even saying, Mina. Mag hunos dili ka nga."
"Isipin mo kasi. First, the parking space. Then the guitar. Tapos hinatid ka pa gamit ang private helicopter niya. If he doesn't like you then what's the catch right?"
"What's the catch ka diyan. He did it because he pitied me, okay? If it's not because of that son of a bitch, David hindi 'to mangyayari sa akin. Mamatay na sana siyang hayop siya." Billy gritted her teeth as she remembered all the misfortunes that she's experienced so far. "Wag na wag lang talaga siyang magpapakita sakin dahil kung hindi, mababalatan ko siya ng buhay." she added.
A loud knocking on the door has interrupted their conversation. Her son Rex, ran to the door to see who was it.
