Tawn grinned at the boy and pulled him in for a hug. She hugged him tightly, cutting off the boy's air supply.

"Tawn can't b-breathe," he warned, tapping her back repeatedly.

Tawn laughed and let him go, "You deserve that for being a sxkawng to me," she shrugged.

Lo'ak coughed violently before nodding his head, "remind me never to make you angry if this is what I get when you are happy," he said, rubbing his throat with his hand.

Tawn rolled her eyes at his hyperbole. He was a carbon copy of his dad, "don't be dramatic, Lo'ak."

The boy smirked at her and shrugged, "it's in my blood."

Tawn laughed at his jabs at Jake. "I'll tell your father you talk bad about him," she teased.

Lo'ak rolled his eyes, "As if."

Tawn decided she needed to head back. She needed to see if Jake had woken up or not. She stood up, making Lo'ak look up at her in confusion.

"Where are you going?" He asked.

"I need to go back home," she said, letting out the part she needed to check his father back at her hut.

Lo'ak nodded, "let me come with you, I need to find Tsireya anyway," he shrugged.

Tawn nodded, walking with him to her hut.

"What's going on with you and her?"

"me and who?" Lo'ak asked, playing dumb.

Tawn looked at him with a deadpan expression.

Lo'ak groaned, "I liked her, but then it'd be weird if you end up with my dad," he grimaced at the thought, "and she promised to help me with sign language."

Tawn laughed, "I mean, some Na'vi marry their cousin," she pointed out.

"Yeah, but not close cousin," he said. He looked around, making sure no one he knew was listening before venting to Tawn, "I don't know if I should tell you this, but, there's this girl, and I don't know," Lo'ak sighed dejectedly.

Tawn smiled at Lo'ak, placing her arm on his shoulders, bringing him in, "and you like her?"

Lo'ak sighed, "I don't know, I don't? she's been driving me crazy with all the chatters, and I've been avoiding her for several days now, but..." he didn't know how to explain his feelings.

"you miss her?" Tawn guessed.

Lo'ak shook his head, trying to deny his feelings.

"You'll figure it out; you're still young. You have a whole life ahead of you," Tawn reassured, trying to put his mind at ease.

Lo'ak scoffed, "yeah, right."

Tawn looked at him suspiciously, but she decided to let it go. They turned a corner to her and Ronal's huts just in time to see Tonowari and Jake walking out of Ronal's Marui. Both had sombre expressions, discussing something before Jake nodded his head and locked eyes with her.

Tawn smiled at Jake, who looked surprised at seeing the two made up so suddenly.

"Dad?"

The man walked towards the two of them, "well, what do we have here, you make-up?" he asked, pulling Tawn to him by her waist.

"Lo'ak apologise and we cleared out any misunderstanding," she smiled, leaning her head on his pecs. Jake leaned down to kiss her forehead.

"Please keep your PDA to a minimum in front of me," Lo'ak grimaced, walking past the both of them, "is Tsireya inside?"

Jake nodded, looking at his son with intrigue.

Lo'ak nodded and walked towards the Marui.

"You want to say something about that?" he asked.

Tawn shook her head, "teenage love," she smiled, stepping back from his embrace, "when did you get up?"

"I was awake when you lovingly kissed my cheek. Missed a spot, by the way," he flirted, smirking at her flustered state.

Tawn slapped his chest and looked around, hoping no one heard what he said, "you are the worst."

"Hm, yea, sure," Jake said, pulling her with him.

After the news Tonowari gave him, he needed her by his side. His guilt was eating him alive, and he didn't know what to do.

Quaritch was coming for him, and knowing what he did to the other clan; he knew he wouldn't stop at anything to get to him. He was hunting him like an animal, trying to follow his tracks, and Jake didn't know whether to run again or stay here and fight.

"Where are you taking me?" she asked, following closely behind him.

Jake looked at her. 'Eywa how can she be so beautiful right now,' he thought to himself, appreciating her radiance.

He couldn't do that to her. She didn't deserve the fugitive life, running away from time to time. No, she deserved better than that, "taking you to Tuk and Kiri, they miss you," he smiled, watching her eyes light up at the thought of his daughters.

Jake decided right then and there to protect that light in her eyes and stay here. Besides, as long as he laid low, Quaritch would never find him.

All was well now.
