POPPY HALLIWELL was used to being underestimated, it was almost a guarantee what with being the baby in the family.
Sure, she got the attention and with that a certain amount of resentment from her three older sisters. Although they'd never admit to it, the constant accusations of being their Grams' favourite and nickname Precious Little Poppy said otherwise.
So it was safe to say that Poppy Halliwell was set on shaking any idea her sisters had that she had it easier than them.
Constantly trying to prove herself as hardworking and driven, it was why she didn't move away to college so she could take care of Grams, why she enrolled in law school.
Poppy Halliwell had something to prove.
The youngest Halliwell would say that she had to work for almost everything she had, that not a lot came naturally to her. However, she'd always been pretty intuitive.
She'd knew that Grams was sick long before the doctors said so. She'd gathered that Prue's fiancée was being unfaithful long before she'd discovered the fact — or more so, accepted it.
Poppy also knew that the object of his infidelity had not been Phoebe — although she'd never had anything other than her word, she knew. And she'd also never really liked Piper's boyfriend Jeremy, although she could never really put her finger on why.
These gut feelings of hers had never failed her but her word was never enough to convince her anyone of anything and for that she could hardly blame them. Even in her own head, it hardly made sense, she studied law for god's sake she knew the importance of facts over feeling.
However, all would become clear on one stormy night when the Halliwell sisters discover the destiny that has been awaiting them their whole lives.

thank you for taking the time to read this book. charmed has been a comfort show of mine for years — genuinely a top tier show. i drafted up a fic template in like 2015 and it's only taken me eight years to revisit it. moral of the story, always go back to your comfort shows, they're even better than you remember. anyway i hope you enjoy because i amveryexcited.
