No more rain

Y/n's POV:
I wake up apparently having fallen asleep to the blue girl snuggling my chest jolted awake I shoot up and she screeches for a second before falling to the ground I check the clock to see it says 6:47AM

Kobo: Ow!
Y/n: Time to start the day!
Kobo: I was having nice dream
Y/n: Today your gonna learn proper grammar

I still feel the red tint on my face as Kobo just stares at me still rubbing her forehead after a few hours Kobo seems to understand English easier now there are still a few flaws here and there but a lot less than there was I exit my house to a small drizzle outside

I breathe in the moist fresh morning air and Kobo comes outside and imitates my actions

Y/n: Yes?
Kobo: Idk I'm just bored

Kobo was imitating me like she wants to be exactly like me so I go back inside and get a fresh cup of coffee and start to drink it, I look over to see Kobo staring at the pot of coffee

Y/n: You want some?
Kobo: What is it?
Y/n: We'll it's kind of like an unhealthy energy drink most people usually drink it in the morning to wake them up

She grabs a mug and spends 3 minutes trying to figure out how to operate the machine and after she does she tries to drink some and drops the mug

Kobo: Ow itthh hawt
Y/n: It's coffee it's usually hot unless it's iced

Kobo just sits there pouting until her tongue cools off and she just cautiously drinks the coffee

Kobo: Bleh it tastes so bad
Y/n: Maybe to a kid
Kobo: Hey I'm legal!
Y/n: Stop saying that!

With my day now ruined I finish my coffee and head out with Kobo following me

Y/n: Is there a reason your following me?
Kobo: I'm just don't wanna be left alone at home

Her grammar could still use some more work but reluctantly I let her come with me as it's just a store trip after a short 10 minute walk I arrive at the Walmart, heading in Kobo looks at the other people nervously

(Theme of Outside Daytime away from Y/n's Town)

Y/n: It'll be okay Kobo they won't hurt you

After I said that I feel a small grip on my hand, I look over to see Kobo holding my hand and meekly following I go inside and look for the weekly groceries I need over time Kobo seems to get more comfortable and is able to walk by my side without needing to grip my hand

Y/n: And now for the spaghetti sauce
Kobo: What's that?
Y/n: What's what?
Kobo: What you just said
Y/n: You don't know what spaghetti or the sauce is!?
Kobo: No? Is it good?
Y/n: Oh I'm making some spaghetti tonight so you can try it

My father used to be a somewhat famous chef not as famous or as good as Gordon Ramsay or the others but he's won multiple cook-offs and luckily he taught me everything he knew before he passed on but even if he didn't get that chance to he left a paper that explains all his tricks. I finish getting my weekly groceries, checkout and head outside to a tough breeze

I head home and put the groceries away with Kobo still following me around

Y/n: I'll probably make the spaghetti for dinner, in the meantime you hungry for lunch?

She shakes her head side to side and so I decide to reheat some of the leftover food I had 2 days ago for lunch which was delicious, I head into the living room and sit down to watch tv for a little and as I turn on a movie I see Kobo fiddling with her fingers Shit not again!

Y/n: You wanna sit?

She shakes her head up and down nervously so I pat my lap which gets an immediate response from her as I see her sitting on my lap and getting comfortable, after an hour she falls asleep snuggling her head into my chest nervous I just sit there and do nothing as to wake her up She looks so cute asleep I've never had a girl even wanna get close to me so this was a weird new experience that I was starting to like after another hour I turn the tv off which for some odd reason wakes her up

Kobo: How long was I asleep..?
Y/n: U-Uhmm about an hour

Kobo rubs her eyes and takes note that she's snuggling up to me which makes her blush, jump off me and apologize profusely

Kobo: S-Sorry I didn't know I was doing that!
Y/n: It's uhmm it's fine you okay?

She stands up and rubs her head now fully awake

Kobo: Y-Yeah just embarrassed
Y/n: Well, anyways, I'm gonna go lie down. I don't feel so good

As I head to my room I hear her mumble something to the likes of "Without me?"

The first chapter in awhile huh? A lot has happened and I haven't had time to write, hopefully I can finish my other stories in case something happens
