Ronal groaned, "oh god, I wonder how long your honeymoon phase will last."

Tawn rolled her eyes at her and focused on her work more.

"When Tonowari and I first got together, that man couldn't keep his hands off of me for three months," Ronal told her, smirking at herself, "you know that man is insatiable when we first said the three little words he immedi—"

"Okay, Ronal, I know. I was there, waiting for you to come out of your love hut," Tawn cut her off, remembering all those days suffering because of her sister, "and I'm not like that. He's being very considerate to me, respecting my pace. When I told him I don't want to tell you yet, he didn't push me to get his ways," she said, oh she missed her man.

Ronal nodded at her. She was really happy for her little sister. She waited long enough for her soulmate, so she deserved the happiness Jake offered her.

"Hello, ladies," Tonowari walked in, followed by Jake. He walked towards Ronal and kissed her temple. Meanwhile, Jake offered Tawn a soft smile, repressing the urge to greet her properly in front of her sister. He needed to remind himself that Tawn weren't ready to tell Ronal about them.

"Hello, boys," Ronal smirked, noticing the interaction between the two.

"How's my son doing?" Tonowari smiled, hugging his mate from behind and gently stroking her stomach.

"It's my daughter, not your son," Ronal teased, placing her hands on his, "but she's fine."

Tawn and Jake watched them with delight. Whether he wanted to admit it or not, Tonowari and Ronal reminded him of his Neytiri. The moment he learned about Neteyam was the happiest he could ever be. He wanted to be the best father for his children and not repeat what his parents did with Tommy and him.

Jake turned his gaze towards Tawn, who was gently holding the blanket in her hand, her gaze soft and her smile genuine.

It was wrong of him to even think about having children with Tawn with their newly formed relationship, but he'd be lying if he said he didn't want kids with her maybe if eywa let them.

Tawn turned towards Jake and patted the spot next to her, "here, come sit. You must've been exhausted," she said.

Jake looked at her with surprise. He unknowingly darted his eyes to Ronal and Tonowari, who were in their own little world, with worry.

Tawn smiled at his hesitation, "don't worry, I told Ronal everything," she assured.

Jake nodded, now more comfortable. He sat beside her, one of his arms behind her. The skin-on-skin contact soothed Tawn, it hadn't been a day, but she missed him like crazy.

"How was your trip? Did you get something nice for dinner?" she asked, subconsciously moving closer to Jake's warmth.

Jake grinned, nodding, "I got some shellfish for tonight."

Tawn nodded, "the kids would love that," she said, finishing her blanket.

"Is that for the baby?" Jake asked, leaning on her.

Tawn nodded, focusing her attention on her work. Just a little bit more stitches, and then she was done for the day. Jake was so focused on her that he didn't hear Tonowari calling his name repeatedly. He would've probably ignored him if it wasn't for the woman beside him.

"Jake, Tonowari is calling you," Tawn said, suppressing her giggle at Jake's flustered face.

"Sorry, yes?" he asked, turning to the couple before them.

Tonowari then looked at Ronal, having a silent conversation with her that made Jake nervous.

Noticing the shift in the air, Tawn looked up at her sister and her mate, who were silently communicating with each other. She sighed. She knew she couldn't escape this once she told her sister. Tawn looked at Jake's tense shoulder before interlacing her fingers with his, reminding him of her presence.
