the tired trio was now at the police station, waiting for detective bailey to come in 

"this was found next to the body at the apartment crime scene" the detective said while holding up a ghostface mask 

"dna says that it belongs to someone named richie kirsch" jayeson rolled her eyes at the name but sam perked up at the name 

"does that ring a bell?" detective bailey asked while looking at the three, jayeson and tara looked at sam, waiting for her to say something 

"we're familiar with him" sam said while staring straight at the detective 

"but the one who attacked us had a different mask on" jayeson added with her arms crossed 

"yeah, it was kinda more beat up, like it was older" tara said, agreeing with her girlfriend 

"huh..gotta ask–do you have an alibi for earlier tonight?" the detective asked while rubbing his mouth 

"i was at a party with my girlfriend and friends" tara said while leaning back 

"i am her girlfriend so..i was with her, obviously" jaye mumbled 

"i was at my therapist, i can give you his information, you can call and check if you want" sam said confidently 

"then i met tara and jayeson at that party, where i tased someone" sam added on to her story as jayeson furrowed her brows 

'there was no need to add that' the roberts girl thought to herself 

detective bailey looked at her with a confused look 

"unrelated" she simply answered while shaking her head 

"was that before or after this happened" the detective asked while showing sam a video- but not just any video, the video of when the girls came up and started to attack her 

"that was before" sam answered with a sigh 

"the point is, we were with people, all night" tara said, dismissing the video

"now, jayeson, you are related to the infamous jill roberts, correct?" jayeson rolled her eyes at the detectives question 

"yep, but what does that have to do with anything? im literally right there in the video holding sam back" jayeson said while pointing at the phone on the table as the detective put his hands up defensively 

"i just wanted to confirm" he mumbled as sam spoke up

"so, our roommates dad, just..happened to pull our case" sam said as the detective gave her a fake smile 

"that'd be a crazy coincidence right?" 

"yeah" sam under her breath 

"the detective that original had the case, he offered it to me because it involves quinn, but i can totally give it back if you're..uncomfortable" the detective explained to the older carpenter girl 

"its up to you" he said simply as the trio shared a look 

"its..fine" sam said, annoyance lacing her tone as the detective gave her a small smile 

"so if the man who did attack you, stole your license and planted it next to the body, it would probably be somebody close to you" detective bailey said with a nod

tara looked at her girlfriend, who wasn't looking at her 

tara couldnt help it, she couldnt help but worry that jayeson lied to her and was lying to everyone and was ghostface and was gonna play her like amber did
