𝟎𝟒 - 𝑰'𝒎 𝒇𝒆𝒍𝒍𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝟐𝟐

Start from the beginning

I pay for the shirt and leave the small store with the bag in hand. He puts his arm around my shoulders as we walk along the edge of the sand to the car. The cold wind mixed with the strong smell of sand made the atmosphere more pleasant than it already was. Being with Jude is so good, it's like we have a giant connection even though we've known each other for no more than a month. It's surreal how comfortable and happy he makes me without saying a word.

I look at the boy and see that he is already watching me. I smile looking down again when we finally reach the car. After about two minutes on the road he gives me his phone and tells me to put on any song I want, obviously I put on Taylor Swift. Every once in a while I would notice him laughing quietly as he sang and danced a little.

— This woman's songs are really amazing, I love her. — I say, getting out of the car when we get to the backyard of my house.

— Yeah, they're really good.

— There was one that I loved just because it's cool but now I have an extra reason. — say, facing him when we get to the door.

— Really? Wich one?

— 22.

I see him give a silly smile so I quickly come closer and seal our lips. I notice him startle but he quickly puts his hand on my waist pulling me closer. I slide my arms around his neck enjoying the contact. His mouth had that amazing mint taste that made me want to never leave his side. I feel my body relax into his touch as I enjoy this moment, it was as if we were totally alone in the world, no one to disturb us.

When I broke away from his kiss I felt a few little kisses being left in my mouth. I bit my own lip, suppressing a small smile.

— I doubt that now you won't save my contact as you saved yours on my cell phone. — I laughed, pushing him away — if you haven't already saved it and not told me.

— Stop it. See ya. — I give him one last kiss and seal before walking into the house and realizing that not everything was being as magical as I imagined.

My mother was leaning on the counter, her red eyes watering as she held her cell phone.

— Mom? What happened? — I come closer to the woman

— Did she text you or something? — I don't have to think long to understand who the woman is referring to.

— She followed me on instagram, but I didn't see my phone after that.

— She said she wanted to get back in touch with you, that she loved you and was sorry. She said that if she could, she would fight to get your custody back. — she speaks hurriedly as tears fall.

— But she can't, I'm of age, she can't have custody of me. Stay calm, I swear that woman won't come near me.

— I know but I'm still afraid of losing you, Karina is your mother and — I cut her off before she can finish her sentence

— That woman is not my mother, you are my mother. And you don't have to be afraid because you won't lose me. We'll keep Karina and her asshole husband far away, okay? — she nods, giving me a tight hug

It takes me a while to get out of her embrace, she gives me a smile that transmits relief and I do the same. I grab my purse and go up the stairs but hear my mother calling me.

— Let's try to be more discreet than ever. I know we already keep our private life to ourselves but now we need to be even more careful, I don't know if it will take long for her to find our number or even our address.

— Of course.

— And about that boy, I won't forbid you to have anything with him, ever, because you are of age and make your own decisions. But please be careful, the more behind the cameras the better. — she says, returning to her activities.
