8am in the morning and yan na agad ang unang bungad ko. First day of sophomore year pero gusto ko na agad mag summer break sa stress na dinadala ko nayon.

I'm super duper late, being part of the cheer team we need to go early for a short practice before the performance to welcome the new school year. Everything was going well the night before kung hindi lang ako tanga tanga at hindi ako nagising sa alarm!

Vibrate ng vibrate ang phone ko but i don't have time to check on that as im putting on makeup. 8:50 mag stastart ang program and it's already 8:30 gosh ang tanga tanga mo Heart.

Wearing my cheer uniform; a red skirt and red croptop both with gold linings, I ran through the streets of mayhem until I reached school. Brenton colleges, Greeting me with a gold plated lettering as it spells the school name screaming prestige and greatness. I ran to the gymnasium and headed backstage,duon nakita ko ang team na nagreaready lumabas.

"Im sorry I'm late! Di ako nagising ng alarm"

"Gaga ka talaga, we're almost starting buti nakahabol ka pa" stress na saad ni Dahlia na unang nakapansin ng pagdating ko

"Ready formation!" Sigaw ng captain namin.

We went out of the backstage and headed to the center of the gymnasium. Waiting for the music to start ni ready ko na ang katawan ko sa mga stunts na gagawin namin. Being 5 flat, my height is perfect for being a flyer in par with my skills as an ex gymnast when I was a kid.

Me and my bestfriends Dahlia and Miki have been cheerleading since we were in highschool, we clicked the moment nung may teammate kami na inaway away ako kasi dapat sya daw ang mag-peperform ng final stunt. Dahlia and Miki defended me and when I say defended I meant sinabunutan nilang dalawa nung aambahan ako ng sampal nung babae. That's when I knew that these two would be my best friends for life because they fought for me despite meeting for the first time.

Cheers and applause can be heard all around the gymnasium as they get hype in every stunts we do. Sana nahahype parin sila sa panibagong pahirap this school year.

"Ang ganda nung dalawang flyer nila!"

"Sila yung nasa tarpaulin sa harap ng school! Kasama yung lalaking maganda ang katawan"

"WOOO go ate!"

Rinig na rinig ko ang bulungan ng mga freshmen, tinutukoy siguro nila ang tarpaulin namin nila Dahlia at Miki sa harap ng school. It was an old photo taken when we were in senior high, kaming tatlo kasi ang napili para imodel ang uniform ng senior high school department. They still use the photo until now sa harap ng gate para manghikayat ng enrollees. Brenton Colleges is among the best schools in the country, a private school offering myriads of courses. Brenton is famously known for its engineering, design and architecture courses, their business course can even compete with the top business school in the country, Denville.

Sa Denville sana ako mag eenroll for college pero Brenton Almuna kasi ang mom ko kaya dito na ako pumasok.

After the cheer team performance ay sumunod ang ibang org for their turn. Every year nagkakaroon ng performance ang bawat orgs at clubs para manghikayat ng freshies na sumali sakanila.Today is the first year of the academic year for freshmenand it will also serve as their orientation day, bukas pa dapat kaming old students pero dahil part kami ng cheer team kaya need namin umattend ngayon.

Hingal na hingal kami pag punta backstage kaya inabutan kami ng tubig ng mga taga Student Body na syang organizer ng program.

"You guys did well today, great job on pulling those stunts. Kinabahan pa ako kanina at kulang tayo sa practice" Coach Vino.
