Sara wasn't always the best at making friends but she tried. Back at her old house she had one or two close friends and the others would talk shit about her so she didn't really consider them real friends.
When Sara arrived at her first day in Canyon High she was often stared at. Nobody wanted to sit with her, hang out with her, or even talk to her. The first few weeks at Stelen was pretty lonely, but then she met her, Bailey. Bailey had the most beautiful black hair Sara had ever seen. Her chocolate skin glimmered in the sunlight and her voice was like a melody.
Sara often tried to build up the courage to talk to Bailey but she was to scared. Bailey practically ran the school! Everyone loved her and feared her at the same time. She was what you would call a bad ass. She would do things like no other. She would do crazy tricks on her skateboard and solve the hardest math problems. She didn't care what others thought of her and Sara respected that.
One day Sara was walking to Science and saw Bailey and the school pick-me Nataly fighting. Sara walked closer and quickly got a slight understanding to what was going on. Nataly had a giant red splotch on her jacket and Bailey was holding what seemed to be the reason, Kool-Aid.
"You ruined my designer jacket! How could you!" Nataly shrieked.
"Not on purpose! Even if it was on purpose I'd be doing you a favor, that jacket is butt-ugly." Bailey scoffed.
Nataly gasped, "How dare you!" She screamed as she strikes Bailey across the cheek with the back of her hand.
The hallway had now filled with kids and each one watched in shock as Bailey looked up revealing a large red mark imprinted on her face.
Sara was ready to jump in between them. She had done it plenty of times when her Dad got drunk. But she saw the look on Bailey's face and decided to stay back.
Baileys hands clenched into fists, "That's the best you can do bitch!" Bailey taunted before swinging her fist right into Nataly's face.
Nataly fell to the ground with a loud thud and her nose instantly began bleeding. "HELP! SHE'S CRAZY!"
A group of teachers came barreling down the hall pushing past the group of kids now surrounding the fight. They stopped for a second, eyes wide trying to figure out how to deal with the problem. Two teachers helped Nataly up and the other grabbed Bailey by the shoulder. The teachers scolded Bailey and comforted Nataly as they went to the Nurses office.
Sara leaned against the wall as her head started spinning. Maybe Stelen wasn't what she thought it was after all.
