You have absolutely no idea how brightly you light up my world
When I was hurt, I was scared to put myself back out there
I knew in this generation it would be hard for my heart to persevere
Everyone is too damaged to allow themselves happiness
Those of us with open and available hearts often end up casualties of it
People might hurt you on accident or on purpose
Either way it made it hard to know if it was worth it
I was on the verge of giving up,
But then you came along and refilled my emptying cup
You have absolutely no idea how brightly you light up my world
The birds sing better because I'm with you
You're not with me just because it's beneficial
We matter to each other and it makes my heart sing
When we lock eyes it's like my happiness is so great, it rings
God put you in my life for the better,
And I hope we can continue to make each other happy forever

Just hearing your voice puts me at ease
I thank God that He decided to use you to bless me
I hope I can make you as happy as I feel
With how things are going I know this is real...
