It didn't take Astria long for her to notice the shadow that seemed to follow her around Ketterdam.
A hooded figure bounding from rooftop to rooftop, following her any time she wasn't in work.
She knew that the girl had to of been sent by Kaz Brekker, so she decided to play oblivious to her.
It was obvious the girl wasn't there to hurt her, seeing as she had multiple chances to do so.
This mysterious shadow grew to be a normal occurrence in Astria's day. Astria always keeping an eye out for her hidden admirer.
Well, it technically, probably wasn't an admirer, but to make it seem less creepy she kept it at that.
She had different thoughts of what her admirer had looked like. Either way she assumed that the girl would be absolutely beautiful.
If Astria had been in a much different situation, she would've already shaken her shadow off of her tracks, and made her getaway.
Yet, as much as Astria had been around death, her shadow didn't feel like they'd kill her, more so protect her.
It was weirdly becoming common ( in Astria's opinion ) for her to be protected. She wasn't going to complain if people cared to do it in the first place, but she had never had anyone look out for her.
