Chapter 1 :The plot

What is the first word that comes to you mind when you hear the word 'Mafia'?
Money, guns, action, 'God Father '?
But my view is different, it's a cage if you are a woman born in it ...
Until you break that cage and use the power and money you have to rule the world.

My name is Melantha. I was born into a family of the most powerful Mafia in East America. Generally the first born become the leader after their fathers in my family; but in my case it was not so because I am a woman. As my mother told me my father (the current leader) broke her ribs when she gave birth to me, apparently she brought shame to his name.
After my birth my mother gave birth to two sons. Then the doctor said if she got pregnant ever again it would be very risky. My mom got pregnant again and this time with twins while giving birth to my brother and sister, she called the eight year old me in and said ''Melantha, promise me you will do everything to keep them away from this evil-devil world''. Those were the last words she ever said to me.
I assumed that the best way to do that was for me to have enough power to stop my father from deciding their faith. From that day I began my training and became the best candidate for the future leader.
It's not a surprise that my father hate me; so when I and my two brothers asked for a place to work in his empire, I got the middle while they got the central and coast east. Every person in the Mafia knew I deserved the central part because it was the main market zone , the middle has no much to do just see if the 'items' reach to the central part.
I had a long conversation, more of an argument with my father and I finally ended up with the Eastern coast. It was more about to receive the shipments ,from Europe and Africa , and then send it to the central part .
I got it when I was 20 and my brothers were 18 and 19.

Now after 4 year the coast wasn't just about the transport, it had an market there. Now the coast was more powerful than the central part.

Except my Mafia there are 3 other important Mafia in America. They control North, South, and West . We have been in good terms with the northern and southern Mafia family but 20 years ago my Mafia had a war with the Western Mafia. It was the greatest gang war that the world had ever seen. It has been weak , at the gate of fall since then . The leader and his wife died ,only their son survived who had been living in Australia since then...
