7. Accidental Party

Billy glared in envy, shooter daggers into the back of Stu's head. How dare he touch her.

Billy quickly followed behind the three.

"Oh hey, Tate?" Veronica called to the blond.

"Yeah?"

"Did you invite Sid? I wanted her to come too." Veronica popped a tape into her cassette player and hit rewind.

"Oh, I invited her. She said she'd be here around ten."

"Oh, okay that's-" The doorbell rang, Veronica clicked play on the machine and music began to blast from it.

She hurried over to the door, with a smile and opened it. Her smile faded as she saw a huge crowd of teenagers from her school.

They all greeted her as they piled into her house. She stared at them all in confusion. "What the fuck...?" Veronica said under her breath.

She ran back to Tatum, "Tate, did you invite them...?!"

"What? No, of course not. I only invited Billy, Stu, Randy, and Sid." Tatum explained, just as confused as Veronica.

"Then who invited them?" Veronica questioned.

"I did." Stu said with a shit faced grin.

"Stu! What the fuck?!" Veronica scolded, "You didn't even bother to ask, you piece of shit!"

"Yeah Stu! The first time Ronnie invites us over for a hangout, you have to fucking invite whole goddamn school!" Tatum glared at her boyfriend.

Stu's grin faded, "Jeez, I didn't know it bothered you that much... Sorry Ronnie..." He walked closer to Veronica who shoved him out of her way and stormed towards the stairs. She bumped into someone.

"Dude-!" She looked to see who she ran into.

"Oh, Randy! Hey."

"Hey, Ronnie. Nice party." He smiled.

"Yeah it was meant to be just the five of you guys. But that dumb fuck, Stu, invited the whole goddamn school." Veronica groaned.

Randy stopped smiling, "Oh man, I swear Stu is such a dick."

"Yeah..." Veronica sighed, "Well I need to get out of here."

"Veronica, wai-" Veronica pushed past the boy and went into the bathroom.

She locked herself in and began to panic. Her breaths began unsteady and she felt like the world was crumbling apart in her own home.

She soon became aware that this was a panic attack, she gasped for air as it felt like her lungs caved in. Hot tears began to fall down her cheeks and she let out a small cry, falling to her knees, herback pressed against the sink cabinet.

Veronica struggled to catch her breath as the tears poured from her eyes.

The loud music blasted through her speakers and vibrated the floor. The voices from outside were all jumbled together.

Veronica hugged her knees and tried her best to calm down. What if her mother comes home early and finds the house filled with teenagers. What if someone files a noise complaint that notifies her mother.

The thoughts kept piling in, making Veronica more and more overwhelmed.

Three knocks erupted from the bathroom door, "Occupied..." Veronica's voice wavered.

Three knocks again.

"Occupied!" Veronica exclaimed, her voice breaking as more tears fell down her cheeks.
