Ch. 4: Fazdad

I had been there for who knows how long, when I heard loud footsteps approaching. I didn't look up, but I knew who it was as soon as I heard his voice.

"Nat, are you alright? What are you doing?"

I blinked, and looked up at him, tears still spilling from my eyes, "I messed up.."

"Messed up?" Freddy knelt down, "What do you mean?"

I took a deep breath, "I went and talked to Monty, and everything was okay, but then I asked him a question and it all went down hill and he got really mad again and he hates me now..!"

Freddy looked down at me sadly, "Woah, woah, calm down.." he sat on his knees, and put a hand on my shoulder, "I'm sure he doesn't hate you."

"No you don't understand, he got so angry, he asked if I was afraid of him, and he scared me, and I jumped, and-"

"It's okay." He pulled me close to him, hugging me. I leaned into him, wrapping my arms around his torso, "Just calm down for now, you're overwhelmed."

"I feel terrible..I'm a bad friend." I bullied myself.

"No you aren't, stop talking like that. You need to calm down for a bit." Freddy ran his hand along my back in a comforting way, "Take some deep breathes and close your eyes."

I opened my mouth to say something, but closed it and my eyes as I leaned into Freddy more. I began to take deep breathes and calm down, something about Freddy was just calming, he always knew how to help.

We sat there for a while, I fell asleep. Freddy made sure I was out, out, before picking me up and carrying me to Monty's green room. He walked into the room, as all the animatronics have free passes into each others rooms.
He carried me in, and walked through the room to find Monty in the darkness. He smiled slightly when he found him, sitting on the couch on the far end of the room.

"Montgomery." Freddy spoke quietly, the Gator tensed and sat up straight as he walked over and stood in front of him.

"What do you want, and what are you doin' with her." Monty grumbled.

"I'm giving her to you, she's asleep, so be careful with her." Freddy paused, and as if he knew Monty would say something he added, "She thinks you hate her. She's sorry too, she never meant to make you angry, she was only trying to find out the truth."

Monty blinked slowly, taking in his words. Before he could reply, Freddy handed my sleeping form to Monty, to which he took carefully. Freddy smiled, "Don't mess up this time." And he left.
