I wake up with an arm slung around my waist and soft breath fanning against the back of my neck. A smile tugs at my lips before I can stop it and I scoot back further into the warmth of the male behind me. He groans softly in his sleep, snuggling in closer.

Last night had been... It had been great.

I never realized how different it was when you're intimate with someone you care about, rather than seeking pleasure in the first person available. While at first I was annoyed by how long it took to get to that point, I have to say it was worth the wait.

I turn over so I'm facing Dante. I cup his face, running my fingers across his cheek until his eyes flicker open. "Good morning," he yawned, nuzzling my hand.

"Good morning to you," I say with a bright smile. "Are you hungry?"

He shakes his head. "I have to go home this morning. Are you coming with me?"

I sigh. "I can't. I have to attend my classes."

He grimaces before leaning over and pressing his lips to mine. I moan, pulling him closer but he only chuckles against me before pulling away. I pout as I watch him get dressed, covering the smooth muscles of his back. My eyes trail down to his ass, hugged by a pair of brown leather. What I wouldn't give to-

"Stop staring and give me a kiss."

Reluctantly, I pull myself from the bed and walk across the room to him as naked as the day I was born. His eyes glaze over with lust as he pulls me in by the hips. "How did I ever make it this long?"

"That's what I was asking myself for the past two months," I laugh, pulling him down. Our lips meet and what was supposed to be a gentle goodbye kiss turned into something much, much more that ends with us both back on the bed.

"I really do have to go," Dante says once he manages to pull away.

"Fine, fine. I'll see you later."

He turns to leave but hesitates at the door. "Are you sure you'll be okay?"

I wave him off. "I'll be in my classes all day. The only thing I have to fear is dying of boredom."

He snorts before he finally leaves. Judging by how high the sun was in the sky, I was already late for my first lesson so I don't bother hurrying. I fix my hair back and put on a comfortable pair of trousers with a loose white shirt before making my way down the palace hall to the lecture room.

My teacher was leaning against the desk, his book open and a scowl lining his lips.

"Good morning, professor." I say, making him startle and nearly drop his book. "Lovely day, isn't it?"

"Your highness," he greets bitterly, running a hand through his long grey hair as I take my seat, plopping my feet up on the desk.

"What are we learning today?"

"Today we will be learning the history of Belmont..." I zone out, looking out the window at the bright sunny day. I wanted nothing more than to go outside. There were a limited amount of nice days this time of year and it seemed to be such a waste spending it inside.

I snap my head up at the sound of a book slamming shut, frowning at my professor. He looked a bit pale and he was looking at his pocket watch. Curious, I watch as he flips through the book again, continuing whatever he had been talking about before, then checks his watch again. That's when I see the beads of sweat on his forehead, which was odd considering the palace wasn't warm.

"Excuse me, your highness." He says, after checking his watch for the third time since I looked away from the window. "It appears that I've forgotten one of my texts. I'll go fetch it and be right back."
