Just quick notes before we move on.

Real quick, note that LMK and its inspiration, Journey to the West, are all set in the fantasy genre of historical(?) China, and note that I'm not Chinese (I'm Korean if that's what people are wondering). Of course I did as much research as I can for this (As well as attempting to remember things from my 5 years of Mandarin lessons like 4-5 years ago), so I apologise if I wrote/drew anything that is horribly offensive.

Also in case y'all haven't read, this is going to be queerplatonic instead of your typical x reader story. It was originally going to be like that at first, but dynamic-wise as I continued to develop the idea, it's been decided that it was going to be queerplatonic. Besides, there's not a lot of queerplatonic fics so.

If anyone's unsure what queerplatonic is, to summarise shortly, Queerplatonic (QPR - Queerplatonic relationship) is a term that originated within the Aro and Ace spectrum to describe a committed intimate relationship, monogamous and/or poly, that are not romantic by nature. It's seen as more than friendship, but less of a romantic relationship. Anyone in a QPR can do anything that people do in typical romantic relationships such as holding hands, cuddling, kissing, going on dates but they can also live together, have kids and even have sex [Of course that ain't gonna happen in this book. Fuck no].

The general thing is that there's no romantic feelings involved, but strong emotional bonds/connections deeper than typical friendships.

There's that as well as possible slow updates. I don't have a schedule for any of my books tbh, I just happened to go with the flow.
