I was walking around the town with a book in my hand and eating an apple with not a care in the world.
Then I accidentally bump into someone.. just great.
"I am so sorry" I said having my head down looking at my half eaten apple on the ground also with my book.
The person I bumped into grabbed my book.
"It's ok Ursula, what's the book about?" the person said... he sounded a lot familiar.
I looked up seeing Triton trying to read my book.
"Ursula why do you read so complicated books?"
"It's in our old language back on land, no one reads this kind of language anymore, to them it's just pure scribbles but to me it's a whole new world" I said.
"Well no offense Atlantean language is pure scibbles to me too"
I laughed "that's because Atlanticas language is different from ours"
"No its just that we don't need to use writing, we don't kill squids to get ink it's like killing our own kind, so we just talk"
"What language do you talk?"
"All languages we can think of"
Both of us started walking in the city together.
"What is it like?"
"What's what like?"
"You know, swimming in the Ocean with a tail"
"I don't know what's it like walking on land with feet"
"good point"
"would you like to know what it feels like?"
"yea sure"
Both of us went to the dock.
He told me to hold his hand and count to three.
We both jumped into the ocean and next thing you know... we are Mermaids.
"Your the first person I will ever teach in my life time" He told me.
I blushed.
He taught me how to control it being a mermaid.
We started to swim to his city.
Atlantica.
It was beautiful, it was pure gold.
Shining, with different kind of brightness.
It seems as if it will blind you but it doesn't.
"So you live here!?" I said astonished.
Triton laughed at me.
"Of course I live here, I am the prince".
Triton took me all over the ocean.
By the time we came back the sun on the surface was nowhere to be seen.
We spent the whole day, just being in Atlantica.
Triton told me about the many adventures he goes through everyday.
It seemed really amazing, and so cool.
He walked me to my room in the castle.
I jumped into bed and I feel asleep faster than a fastest man can run.
