"Tawn, these are my friends. They are not the enemy," Jake said softly, making sure her eyes were on his. "can you do me a favour and join Neteyam and Lo'ak outside? They need you," Jake said, gently telling her to get out.

Tawn huffed and ushered Tuk out first before glancing back at Kiri. She hoped to Eywa she was okay. Tawn looked up at Jake, her eyes connecting with his yellow ones. He looked at her intently, trying to convey the message that they'd be okay here with the outsider. Tawn thankfully noticed it and gave a slight nod before following little Tuk.

When she left the hut, she noticed Tsireya and Rotxo standing beside Neteyam. Neteyam was crouching on the pathway's edge while Lo'ak stood a bit far away from the Marui.

"Tawnie! I was so scared for her," Tsireya cried, running into her arms.

"It's okay my love. Where's your mother?" Tawn asked.

Tsireya looked back toward her marui and said, "she's preparing the herbs. She should be here anytime now," Tsireya responded.

Tawnie nodded and shifted her gaze towards Rotxo, "are you okay, Rotxo?"

Rotxo shrugged, his shoulders dropped, "I'm okay now, knowing she's in good care," he replied. He looked guilty for what happened, even though it wasn't his fault.

Tawn let go of her hug with Tsireya before coming to him, and side-hugged the boy, "it's not your fault Rotxo," she whispered.

She let go of him and scanned the area for her sister. When she saw her coming, Tawn hurried her in. she was greeted by machines sticking into Kiri's arm.

"I see I'm not needed here," Ronal said coldly.

Tawn shook her head and grabbed her hand, "no, please, she needs your help, sister," she begged, taking her other hand to hold hers, in a desperate plea. "please, Tsahik," she cried.

The sound of her sister begging and calling her Tsahik made Ronal sober up quickly. Her sister needed this.

"Take this machine off," Ronal ordered.

Tawn's eyes locked with Jake, and she nodded at him. Jake immediately moved the needle in her arm carefully before ushering out his friends to let Ronal work.

Tawn moved aside for them and trailed along her sister. She sat beside Kiri and watched her sister heal Jake's oldest daughter. She didn't know when Tuk came in and sat on her lap but before she knew it, Tuk was there, circling her arms on Tawn's neck.

When her sister finished, no one dared to say anything or move. The next few seconds were tense before Kiri let out a strained cough. Tawn and Tuk immediately hovered over her. Tawn watched Kiri's face scrunched up in fear before she sobbed.

Tuk ran to her other side and took Kiri's hand, whispering her name like a prayer.

Tawn ran her hands on Kiri's face, "Tam tam ma txelan, tam tam," she soothed.

Ronal let out a small smile. She now knew for sure that Eywa had answered her question. She walked out and looked at Jake Sully. They needn't exchange words since he understood and ran inside.

She prayed to Eywa that their journey to happiness was easy. She called for Tsireya and Rotxo to come home with her, and they did. Ronal's eyes moved towards Jake's friend, and they waved awkwardly while Ronal hissed quietly before leaving.

Neteyam and Lo'ak hesitantly walked inside their Marui, seeing Jake and Tawn smothered Kiri. The young girl just sat there.

Neteyam was relieved that his sister was okay; she looked better now. He was also grateful for Tawn's presence. Neteyam thought about how she fitted in like the missing puzzle they were searching for. She brought back the balance that was lost the day his mother died.
