Once they got there Jessie took out an Ouija board. ''Seriously?'' Evan asks not believing the cliché he is seeing. ''Yeah, but remember we both have to put in our energy as well, not just the demon or spirit we are trying to contact. That's why it usually never works.'' Jessie explains. Evan just agrees and they go to the middle of the bridge. They lay down the board and light some candles. Evan sits down and puts his index and middle finger on the planchette. Jessie first looks at it nervously but then sits down as well. ''We open up to all forms of communication, we welcome any demon or spirit to speak with us, please make your presence known'' Jessie says out loud before spinning the planchette in circles three times over the board. Jessie looks around for anything to happen, while Evan seems quite bored, he has a smile on his face showing he is cocky and confident he has won. Jessie repeats the chant, but to no avail. Nothing happens. This went on several times. ''Why don't you try something?'' Jessie asks Evan, hoping it will help. He doesn't even want to know what punishment awaits him. ''Sure, I guess it's only fair.'' Evan sighs before he starts, ''Hello demon or spirit or whatever you may be. You are in our town, so listen to me.'' Evan says not stopping bossing the demon or spirit around. Nothing happened but that didn't stop Jessie from warning him, ''Maybe it's a bad idea to be so rude?'' he tries to reason. But Evan doesn't listen, he continues to be rude to the demon. At some point he is so on fire with his rant that from simply being rude he is straight up disrespecting whatever he is talking to.

After about 10 to 15 minutes of him ranting, he is done and has a huge smile on his face, he looks at Jessie who had wide eyes looking at him in both amazement and concern... A lot of concern. ''Didn't think you could keep going for so long. You doing ok?'' he asks, ''Had a lot on my mind last month and I was never able to get it out until now, that's all, nothing to worry about.'', Jessie nods and they continue, trying different things. From the Ouija board, to spirit rots to doing a simple séance. Nothing works, ''I admit, I lost the bet. We tried nearly everything but no sign of anything,'' Jessie gives up and Evan celebrates. Jessie packs up his stuff and looks at the boy dancing on the bridge. ''Thanks Jessie'' he hears from the bridge, ''For what? I lost and pretty much wasted our time'', ''It's thanks to you I finally have that frustration out, just thought I'd at least thank you for that. Now you better prepare for your punishment'' He says with an evil smile. Jessie smiles as well, glad something good came out of this for him, 'maybe he will go easy on the punishment now' he thought.

Jessie goes home in utter defeat. Hoping he would get an easy punishment, not too harsh. Evan stayed behind a little longer, he was busy celebrating. 'HELL YEAH, I WON'' he screamed into the silent night.

He went quiet the moment he heard a low growl. He looked around thinking he had woken up an animal. But he saw nothing. 'Probably all that creepy crap Jessie showed me' he thought and shrugged. He had to admit, he never even knew of this bridge so he went to the other side to see what was there. It seemed there was just a forest and walked in, taking out his phone and turning on the flashlight. He didn't find anything and just found it very creepy so he turned around and walked out again. He was walking over the bridge to start walking home again, it had gotten late and he got tired from celebrating.

Back on the middle of the bridge he heard the same growl as last time, that's when he noticed the vines on the bridge. Those weren't there before. He looks around and again sees nothing. He walks over to the edge of the bridge and looks over. Looking into the water he sees nothing but his own reflection. Still thinking it was just Jessies creepiness from earlier he turns around and sees it. A strange creature at the end of the bridge. Standing where he has to pass to go home. The creature is at least 8 feet tall. It looked like it was wearing a skull to cover his face. On the shoulders it wore some kind of fur coat but instead of fur it were leaves mixed of dead and alive ones. From its arms were vines hanging with little vials with glowing substances in it. Evan stares at it in disbelief at first but then he remembers Jessie always walking around school with weird things.

''Very funny Jessie, I won't lie, you had me scared there for a second'' he says while making mocking movements of being scared. ''You can stop now. Demons aren't real and we saw the proof right here, tonight. You admitted you lost, I get it, you're trying to get back at me and that's fair. But this is straight up creepy, even for you'' but the creature just stands there not moving. Not one bit. Evan then thinks he built it beforehand as some kind of puppet and tries to walk past it, laughing but still creeped out by how real it looks. He stops laughing when he is right in front of it, checking it out a little more. He then sees the darkness inside the skulls eye sockets. 'That is just terrifying' he thinks, Evan gives the creature a kick but didn't expect it to give a reaction. The creature immediately looks down, right at him. It raises an arm and swings it, sending Evan flying. Evan now realizing this isn't Jessie, from the strength, and not a statue or a creation by it moving out of free will, gets up and starts running to the other side. But there was another one standing. He was in the middle of the bridge, he looks to the sides. 'I can jump in the water' he thinks to himself, Evan is starting to run towards the edge but stops himself as two more from each side climb up. Understanding he is surrounded he starts to scream, ''JESSIE, YOU WERE RIGHT THEY ARE REAL! HEEEEELP!!'' but Jessie didn't hear anything, he was almost home and was listening to music on his way.

Realizing he was in this alone he took out his pocket knife. He always had it with him just in case, since he usually walked around alone at night from time to time and just in case something needed to be cut or opened like packages.

He makes a run for it towards the end of the bridge. Running past the unknown creature but failing. He gets grabbed by the back of his shirt and dragged down the bridge before screaming out for help once more. But to no avail. Vines from the creature start to wrap around his body. He gets dragged through the forest still yelling out for help, he starts swaying his arm around like crazy hoping to cut the vines. Instead he accidently let go of the knife and dropped it. Tears streaming down his face, he gets dragged into the forest and disappears.
