Run from my shadow...

Chapter 1

                     I stood in the middle of Inaba at the shopping district shocked nobody was here! Last time I was here it was full! I sighed it was so sad, I heard the Junes commercial from behind me "Every day's great at your Junes!" A little girl sang. She had cute little brown pigtails and a pink tangerine and brown dress. I smiled at her she was adorable. She looked to be about nine-ish. She looked up at me  "Hello Miss. I'm Nanako Dojima." She smiled 

                     "Hello Nanako. I'm Yunami Narukami." I smiled.

                      Nanako gasped  "Are you big bro's twin sister?" She said in awe. I figured that this was my cousin so I nodded. Nanako smiled at me "Daddy will be excited to hear that your finally here," She grabbed my hand "Come on let's go home!" she smiled taking me in the opposite direction I was going.

                    I walk in the door behind Nanako, " Big bro! I'm home!" She called into the house. I looked to see who she was calling big bro. It was Yu. I dropped my bag and ran towards him. "Yu!" I screamed with delight.Yu smiled " Yunami. I'm so glad to see you." He smiled. I gave him a hug. My brother i got to see him again. Even though it's only been six days. I was supposed to go with him here but. I stayed a extra six days at home to finish a test at school.

                       "How have you been?" He asked me and he tussled my sliver hair. I smiled " It's been okay. But im excited to start school tomorrow!" I said. Yu smiled at me, "You can stay in Big bro's room." Nanako said blushing. I smiled at her kindness, and I nodded. "Is that okay with you Yu?" I asked.

                      Yu nodded "Sure I don't mind. Here i'll show you where it is." 

                      "Yay!" I squealed grabbing my bag and chasing him up the stairs. We walk in the door sitting at the top of it. His room was bland, there was a t.v, a bed, and a desk pretty much. I sat on the couch setting down my bag on it. "This is so new..." I said standing back up. I walked around the room, I stood by the t.v and poked the glass. The second I poked it for the third time my head filled with pain, "Ah!" I said rushing my hand to my fore head kneeling on the floor. A freaky looking man smiled at me with a women by him, "You posses a great quality young miss. It seems you are going to cross a very mysterious path very soon." He said then the man and women disappeared from my sight . Yu raced to my side "Yunami? Are you okay?" He said panicked. I nodded removing my hand from my head and standing back up.

                       "Totally. I'm fine. Just a head rush." I smiled at him. 

                       "Dinner!" I heard Nanako yell from down stairs.

                       "Okay let's go down stairs, you must be starving." Yu said still eyeing me to make sure I was okay. I wondered what was going threw his head... He opened the door and we walked down the stairs and I was right behind him. "Hello! I'm home." A guy said in the kitchen I  recognized the voice. 

                      "Dojima!" I said to my Uncle, giving him a hug. 

                  "Oh. Yunami i'm glad to see you." Dojima said smiling. "I'm glad you could finally be here. did you ace that test?"

                      I nodded proudly. And we sat down to eat.

                 It was almost midnight and Yu and I were talking in his room  "...So your friends with Chie,  Yosuke and sorta friends with this Yukiko?" I asked Yu. He nodded. But I felt weird... Something about hearing about Yukiko made me nervous. I stood up it was three minutes to midnight. "I'm still hungry... I'll be right back." I told Yu.

                "Okay, have fun." He said as i walked out of the room and looked in the crack of the door; he looked out his window, it was still raining. Yu turned off his light and stood four inches away from the t.v. and stood like that for two minutes. I got bored and went down stairs and grabbed an apple. By the time I came up stairs Yu was freaking out; "No i don't know who it is. but who ever it is we have to save them." He said into a phone. I walked into his room. "Save who?" I asked Yu.  

                  Yu's face flushed. "Nobody. Just go to bed." He said turning his back to me.

                   "Fine." I stomped over to my sleeping bag and wrapped my self in it. Falling into a sleep.

I stood in a long hallway with brick flooring. It was foggy. Really foggy. I walked forward. "Do you seek the truth?" A voice asked. 

"The truth about what?!" I yelled into the fog. Starting to run forward. 

"If it's the truth you desire, come and find me..." The voice said again. I ran faster. Until I reached this black hole looking thing. It was swirling black and red. I pushed my hand into it. getting sucked inside. "So... You are the one pursuing me..." A shadow in the fog asked.

"Uhh... I guess?" I said back to it. 

"Hm... Try all you like." The shadow said again. 

"Fine i will." I screamed throwing a punch at it. I hit it, even with the fog."Hmmm... It seems that you can see a little, despite the fog..." it said again.

" Yeah... I guess."  I said back to it. Suddenly this blue card floated in front of me. I grabbed in my hand. The card shocked me "Ah! I screamed, tossing the card to the floor. "I see... Indeed, you possess an interesting quality..." it said.  I lunged at it. Failing and landing on my stomach.  "But... you will not catch me so easily..." it said.

"Shut up!" I yelled at it. Getting more frustrated slamming my fist agents the ground. 

"Everyone sees what they want to... And the fog only deepens" It said.

"No! You just need to shut up!" I screamed punching at it again but I missed stumbling. 

 "...Will we meet again...? At a place other than here... Hmhm... I look forward to it.." It said. Then everything thing went black.

                              I screamed sitting up, covered in sweat. I sat on my sleeping bed, gasping for breath. I put my hand over my heart, trying to calm my self down. I laid back down "It's a dream... It's only a dream..." I mumbled to my self. 

                                 "Hey, is everything thing okay?" Yu asked me sitting up on his futon. I nodded breathless. I looked at the time; 6:40am. I stood up and walked over to my bag grabbing clothes and walking into the bathroom, and putting on the school uniform. I tugged my hair into two braids. And went downs stairs. "Oh hi Yunami." Nanako smiled. 

                                     "Hello Nanako." I smiled back. "Well i'm going off to school." I said as I grabbed my back pack and walked towards the door.

                               " Yunami. Do you know where to go?" Yu asked me as he walked down the stairs. I stopped. "Errrr...." I said as my face flushed, I couldv'e been walking around all day! Yikes!

                                  Yu smiled. "It's fine we'll go together."  I smiled back as we walked out the door, "Bye, Nanako!" We both said at the same time, after all. we are twins.
