I stopped coming to school again. My mom didn't mind. If I were to have another quirk accident, it would be better if it wasn't public. Carlos, on the other hand, hasn't been absent ever since, not like he had any reason to be. Though he wouldn't stop worrying about me so he checked up on me ever so often.

I didn't do much at home. I felt miserable. I wanted to go out. I wanted to see my friends.

After what felt like 3 hours, I sat up from my bed and looked around the room, searching for nothing. Boredom was eating away at me.

I was making decisions in my head,

Should I draw? No.

Should I eat breakfast? No...not hungry.

I need to check my homework...actually screw homework.

I'll just go on my phone.....no.

I groaned and flopped back down on my bed. I had no energy to do anything.

Maybe I should just wait for today to pass by....

After a while of talking to myself in my head, I came up with the stupidest, most brilliant idea.

My parents specifically told me not to mess around with my quirk. If I were me a few days ago, then I'd definitely listen. But right now? I'm bored, so it wouldn't hurt to test it out. I mean, I have telekinesis now! And there are rarely any telekinetic quirks left in this generation!

I sat back up on my bed and scanned the room for any small objects that were easy to move. My eyes went on Carlos's All Might action figure. I focused on it and stretched my arm out towards it for dramatic effect.

To my satisfaction, it moved. Only by a few inches, though. I tried pulling it towards me now, into my hand. I totally overestimated myself, pulling that small action figure towards me, and I felt as hard as attempting to lift 4 gallons of milk with one hand if you weren't strong enough(that's oddly specific)

Shortly after that, I gave up. It was frustrating finding out how hard using a quirk could be, on the other hand, controlling it. Now I understand why heroes have to train their asses off before they become pros.

I groaned and decided to do something else with my time. I finally came out of my room and was greeted by my mom cooking breakfast.

"G'morning anak, how was your sleep? Better now or hindi pa(better now or not yet)?"

"Good morning...definitely better, I actually managed to sleep through the night." I responded while combing my tangled hair with my fingers.

"That's good, I'm making hotdogs and eggs. If you want to eat, there's rice now." She pointed at the newly cooked breakfast, then the rice.
