'Sanjana baat kuch aesi hai ki aaj Karan par hamla hua hai. Usse kisine shoot kiya hai.'

'WHAT?!' 'Kya?' The cadets and Sanjana shouted.

'Sir iss Karan sir fine?' Koel managed to ask keeping her voice from quivering.

'Koel abhi toh kuch keh nahi sakte kyuki usse surgery ke liye OT le gaye hai. Hum filhaal hospital jaa rahe.' Batra sir informed them.

'Sir hum bhi aate hai.' The cadets said in unison.

'Nahi aap sab log nahi aayenge, hospital mai itne log allowed nahi hai. Filhaal toh mai, Faizi aur Sanjana hospital jaayenge.' Batra sir informed the cadets who agreed reluctantly.

'Sir mai, I'm sorry to interrupt but mai yaha nahi reh sakta I need to be with Monu.' Sid said defiantly.

Batra sir nodded cause he knew there was no point and also Monami needed her best friend right now.

'Hum aapko inform karenge agar kuch bhi hua toh aap log call karke pareshaan mat kijiye. Humme patah hai aap sab ko Karan ki fikr hai, par hum aap sab ko khabar dete rahenge.' Faizi informed.

'Banta humari absence mai incharge tum rahoge.' Batra sir said while looking at Ustadji.

'Ji sirji, aap log ab turant nikaliye.' Ustadji said and the trio plus Sid moved to leave for the hospital.

WAITING ROOM

Baby was still hysterically crying in Barkha's arms who was trying to console her. Monami was pacing here and there waiting anxiously for any updates on Karan's health.

'Baby shaant ho jaav please.' Barkha pleaded her daughter with tears in her own eyes.

'Mumma chachu kaha hai? mujhe chachu se milna hai.' Baby cried bitterly.

'Baby bache yaha dekho.' Monami said while kneeling in front of Baby.

'Aap toh strong baby ho na?' Monami asked her while holding Baby's hands in hers, who nodded in agreement.

'Toh aap aese ro kyu rahe ho, aapke chachu na bilkul theek hojaayenge. Agent Shera toh strong hai na?' Monami asked Baby cupping her cheeks.

'Yes Agent Shera is the strongest.' Baby replied in a meek voice.

'Toh phir Agent Shera ko kaise kuch hoga, aur Agent Shera kya bolenge jab unhe patah chalega ki unki strongest commando Agent Baby ko aese dekhenge toh woh naraaz ho jaayenge na?Unhe yeh dikhaana hai kya ki unki sabse brave girl ro rahi hai.' Monami asked Baby politely while looking at the latter in her eyes.

'Nahi chachi, Agent Baby Agent Shera ki sabse brave girl hai aur woh royegi nahi.' Baby said while wiping her tears and giving a bittersweet smile.

'That's like chachu's girl.' Monami said and kissed Baby's forhead who hugged her.

Param had been watching Monami and Baby's conversation. As soon as the formalities and informing at the academy was done, Param headed towards the waiting area where he saw Barkha trying to console a hysteric Baby. He was about to intervene when he saw Monami talking and calming Baby down. He was proud of Monami, for handling the situation so valiantly. Monami had been so strong calm and composed the entire while and he felt immensely proud of her.

'Param kuch patah chala?' Barkha asked spotting Karan at the waiting room entrance.

'Nahi Barkha mai toh reception pai formalities complete kar raha tha aur phir academy mai inform bhi kar diya, Batra sir, Faizi, Sanju aur Sid aate hi honge.' He informed them.

Monami and Barkha nodded. 'Bhaiya yeh koi accident toh nahi hai, Karan pai attack hua hai.' Monami told Param.

'Sahi kaha tumne Monami, yeh koi accident nahi hai. Humme patah lagana padega ki Karan pai attack kisne kiya hai.' Param said determindedly, as Monami set her jaw straight and nodded in agreement.
