The pain shot through my leg I new what had happened Beth and viv were the first to run to me I look at them and the first thing I said is "I'm going to miss the World Cup" viv was the first to say something " you don't know that " you look at everyone around you still in a lot of pain " I felt something pop" it goes quiet around you then you see the medics run to you after they look you over they see if you can walk but you can't so they call for the stretcher I get on it and get subbed off

I'm in the hospital waiting for the doctor I must have zoned out for a bit because I hear the door open and it's the doctor he sits on a chair " hello ivy I'm doctor link do you want me to give you bad news first or the other news" you look at him " can I have the bad news first " he's face chances a bit " bad news is that you have torn your acl " a wave of devastation went through you you where only the 20 and you where have the best season of your life and now it was ended
"now the other news when we put the Heart monitor on you we saw you blood pressure was up so we would like to do some test just to see if there is anything else wrong
