Chapter 23

the Spiritus hissed. the 3 are silent Loona looks questioningly. with a hesitant sigh, she asked the spiritus slowly.

"what exactly did he do?"

Loona asked knowing she'll regret it. The spiritus is quiet for a second. the scenery changes to a white area. the 3 couldn't help but contain their gasp as the spritus appearance changed.  his eyes held no essence of light. his body tattered. guts spilling from his abdomen. half his face destroyed and burned. his left side of his upper body missing. Stolas covered his mouth in utter shock. Did (y/n) cause that?

"Be wary of trusting him..."

The spiritus growls. The 3 didn't utter a word as the spiritus disappeared leaving behind an orb. Blitzø swallows not doing the same mistake again he picks up the orb with a cloth.

"Lets keep going..."

Blitzø says with a hard swallow. The spiritus words plaguing his mind. Loona places a hand on Blitzø shoulder. Blitzø looks at Loona then smiles as they keep moving. Stolas rubs his arm nervously seemingly out of place.

They then see the next door. Blitzø without hesitation opens it ready for anything only to find out they end back to the large gate.

Meanwhile with Moxxie's group

Moxxie and Jaak breathes heavily at the intense heat of this memory scape. The scorching sun too much for them. Millie moves on encouraging the 2. They then see a figure in the distance.

"Uhh... Mox... Did you see that?"

Millie asks slightly nervous. Moxxie breathes looking up slightly in a daze.

"W-what?"

Moxxie asked walking to Millie's side. Jaak had joined them looking winded.

"Wha-what are you guys... Seeing?"

Jaak breathes wiping the beads of sweat off his face. Moxxie noticed something too. Something approaching. Millie looks cautiously as it approaches.

"You shouldn't be here..."

It says the trio finally got a good look at the Spiritus almost the same height as (Y/n). He wore some kind of old mask that reminded them of a porcelain doll. His hair was interesting to say the least being tri colored. The way he dressed was also peculiar being to warm for the dessert environment.

"You're in the last room... And i would advice that you 3 should just leave..."

The spiritus says narrowing its eyes at them. Jaak swallows a lump. This Spiritus held a different aura than the one they encountered earlier. This one was radiating some kind of danger.

"I-... We... We can't"

Moxxie strutters swallowing nervously as the Spiritus looks down at him. Millie also looks slightly off putted by this Spiritus.

"Yes you can..."

The spiritus said as a door appears. Moxxie looks surprised for a second before shaking his head.

"No... We need to help... We need to help (Y/n)!"

Jaak says turning to the spiritus. The spiritus scoffs almost laughing at Jaak's words.

"Theres no helping that man... That man is beyond helping..."

The spiritus spoke with a saddened look. This confuses the trio as the Spiritus uncovered the orb from the sand.

"This is what you're here for. The sooner you get its name the sooner you get to leave..."

The spiritus spoke. Jaak holds the orb using a cloth to make sure they don't go through another episode of earlier aswell. Moxxie then turns to where the spiritus once stood.

"Wait... how'd you-"

Moxxie looks surprised looking around. The spiritus had gone leaving a door for them. Millie frowns.

"Well... That was fast..."

Jaak says looking nervous. Moxxie agreed as they decide to move forward opening the door only to find them back at the start. Blitzø group already there aswell.
