Wooyoung bit his tongue, contemplating what to say. He didn't have any memories of waking up at any given point, and simply believed to have slept until morning of that same day. It bothered him, those gaps in his memory.

"Hongjoong just texted me. Can you wait to talk to him when I get back?" San texted again, gaining Wooyoung's attention again. He waited a few seconds before typing his response.

"Why? I can talk to him on my own." Wooyoung already hit send before he sighed, closing his eyes tight for a moment before typing another response. "When will you be back?"

"Maybe a half hour. The others are finishing up, plus travel time back." San didn't say anything in regards to Wooyoung's first message, only the second. "Mingi can help you for the time being if you need anything."

Again, Wooyoung sighed, letting himself fall backwards onto the bed. He held his phone above his face, typing his next message.

"There's things I want to speak about privately, do I seriously need your blessing to talk to your leader?" Wooyoung knew his sarcasm was evident simply through the text on screen.

"There's things I want to talk to you about first." San responded almost instantly.

"Ah yes, how could I forget about your vampy bond?" Wooyoung's tongue was poking his cheek as he hit send.

"That amongst other things." San sent after numerous bubbles popped up and went away again. "Just stay in the room, I'll be back as soon as I can."

Wooyoung sat upright, glaring at his phone. "You are not the boss of me."

"Maybe not, but that's Hongjoong's orders. I can't exactly help you if you go against his word. You did agree to follow his rules while you're there." San responded without hissing a beat.

There was a knock at the door, gaining Wooyoung's attention. He didn't say anything at first, just stayed scope-locked on the door until the handle turned downwards while it creaked open. The first thing Wooyoung noticed was the bright red hair, and that's when he realized this conversation with blondie was all for nothing.

"Well your leader is here right now, so I guess I'll see you later." Wooyoung quickly typed out before looking up again, seeing Hongjoong walk into the room yet linger around the door. There was such a great change in the atmosphere, the confidence Hongjoong radiated was nearly overwhelming.

Wooyoung ignored his phone when it buzzed again, not bothering to look at San's text and instead stuffed the device in the hoodie pocket. He tried not to think about how he's been wearing these clothes for two days, and tried to instead just keep his thoughts on the matter at hand.

"Are you feeling better?" Hongjoong asked with a voice that wasn't intimidating in the slightest despite the aura he gave off.

This was strange to Wooyoung, who only knew gang leaders to be ruthless. This whole situation was so strange to him, but he could only roll with the punches, one thing at a time.

"For the most part." Wooyoung answered, hands placed hesitantly on either side of him, his eyes jumping to his backpack on the desk.

Hongjoong's eyes also went to the backpack after seeing Wooyoung's eyes dart to it. He cocked his head to the side, observing the hunter who observed him.
