XVII• Labs & Errors

It was Eryn's night shift today, as soon as she got in she changed into her scrubs and went to the vendy to grab a granola bar as she didnt had dinner today again,

'that jerk who does he think he is!', Eryn mumbled to herself mad about the journalist,

'why is he so interested to know? Ugh why cant people leave me alone!',

she mumbled to herself pushing buttons of the vendy machine that refused to gave her the granola bar,

"No need to take it out on the vendy",
Rin looked at her amusedly from behind her making her embarrassed,

"uh.. miss uchiha?",

"Call me Rin",she smiled and helped her out pressing the right buttons,

"this much?", Rin stared at the 5 granola bars in her hand,

"I barely get time to eat so these come in handy", she replied as she started munching on one,

"You should eat proper food too Eryn",

"I will maam, thankyou", she was about to turn to leave when Rin called her from behind,

"Oh and the Dr Yakushi from Pathology department was looking for you, did you perhaps ordered some labs?", 

"Me? Ordering labs?", Thats when she remembered, she ran baseline tests on Lord Hokage a day a ago, She panicked and immediately ran towards the department hoping for Dr Yakushi to be still there,

'I forgot to check on lord 27th's labs how could I!?'

"Uh Excuse me- Is Dr Yakushi-", as soon as she entered the department she met eyes of few of the sleep deprived pathologists, she sweatdropped, a hand was raised by a white haired man, wearing glasses who was looking in microscope,

"Thats me that you are looking for, Please just call me Kabuto",

Eryn tiptoed to him nodding, "Dr Kabuto, I am Dr Eryn Namikaze, Intern of Maam Tsunade-",

"Oh you ordered Lord 27th's labs right? Here are the results come along",

They both went into his office and he printed her the reports from his computer,

"You new? How is Lady Tsunade so far?",

"Oh she is nice-", he started to laugh before she can even complete the sentence,

"Nice? You mean that lady demon? Pardon me", he stopped laughing looking at the reports,

"Hm interesting", he says staring at his computer,

"Is everything alright Dr Kabuto?",

"Hm? Oh yes, just his TLC count is slightly on the higher side, also I rechecked the slide myself multiple times so there are no rooms for errors", he smiled and she nodded,

She looked at the reports and something kept bugging her she decided to discuss it with her mentor,

"Come in", Tsunade ordered from her office which she rarely leaves,

"Here to report on something?", She asked and Eryn nodded,

"I sent you the labs maam-",

"Yeah saw his TLC count Kabuto reported that-",

"I am more worried about the elevated hematocrit levels maam, he surely doesnt have polycythemia",

"It could be normal what makes you so worried?", She asks, Eryns mind went back to few non healing bruises on Kakashi's skin during the examination,
