I pushed him playfully on his chest, forcing him to lay down on the exam table. We were both giggling as I walked over to what I assumed was my work desk, I sat down as he started to speak. Quietly, putting on a voice that seemed quite unnatural.

"You're pretty strong for a doctor, y/n," I could hear the smirk in his words which caused me to smile as I fought away the blush that was appearing again.

"And you're pretty weak for someone that's constantly around a bunch of army men, Lucas," I say mockingly as I try to log into the large computer on my desk. "Now just stay there and be quiet I need to figure out how to get into this thing."

     Badge Number:

I look down at my badge I got when I first got onto the ship. The number was placed right under the picture they took. Just as awful as my passport photo.

"Okay, I'm in yay!" I swivel around in my chair to face Lucas. He was watching me intently and a twinge of confusion appeared on my face. "What's up?"

His nose started bleeding again so I grabbed a tissue and started dabbing his upper lip. I could tell he was staring into my eyes, but I stayed focused, ignoring him. I don't think it's very professional to be feeling like this. Once I stop, and the blood is all gone I finally make eye contact.

I try to seem uninterested, but I guess my disguise wasn't believable. Lucas leaned in and lightly pecked me on the lips as I pushed his shoulders slightly back.

"Don't." I say forcing a frown. My hands are still placed lightly on his shoulders as we hear the door of the office glide open. I quickly pull my hands away as I see Nathan Bridger walk into the room.

"Am I interrupting something?" He said, smiling slyly at the both of us.

"No, I was just helping with his nose," I reply somewhat harshly. The change in attitude confused the both of them, but I didn't care at this point. I cannot lose my job here. This is one thing in my life I care about most. I will not let Lucas ruin this with his silly little "Teen Romance" mindset. "Y'all can leave now. I should get everything set up in here."

"Okay." I hear Captain Bridger say as he left, keeping the door open for Lucas. I step out from in front of him and watch him shuffle off the table and to the door.

"I'll see you around, y/n." He said somewhat defeated as I turned my head completely ignoring his goodbye.
