𝐆𝐎𝐋𝐃𝐄𝐍 𝐇𝐎𝐔𝐑 - 𝐉𝐀𝐂𝐊 𝐂𝐇𝐀𝐌𝐏𝐈𝐎𝐍 𝐱 𝐅𝐄𝐌!𝐎𝐂

𝐒𝐄𝐕𝐄𝐍: 𝐒𝐄𝐂𝐑𝐄𝐓

"Bro shut up! You're gonna wake someone!" Jack said to Britain who was whisper-yelling to Duane

"Nah, you're gonna be the one waking someone!" Duane said cutting into the conversation

"Shut up both of you! Damn" Jamie said trying to keep them, the loudest two of the group, quiet

"Where's this damn cliff bro, we've been walking for like an hour" Filip asks swinging his phone flashlight around all of us

"We should've saved this for the night, my God. The cliff is like around here somewhere, I think" I said the first part to Bailey, but answering Filip's question

It's about 3am when we, all the kids minus Trinity since she was still asleep, all decided to go for a walk and look for a cliff that overlooked the beach we saw when we were snorkeling. We were trying to be as quiet as we could but, that didn't work out for long. We were walking towards the beach to look where to go from there, since we got lost multiple times due to poor navigation and arguing. Since it was morning, and none of us were morning people, we got agitated really quickly, but also got over it quickly. Once we were on the beach, we started to look for the cliff, and once we did, we started having troubles again.

"Okay we found it, how do we get to it now?" Bailey asks shining her flashlight onto the cliffside, but many answers came at once

"Climb it, duh" Duane said rolling up his pretend sleeves getting ready to climb up the cliff

"Let's look for a trail" Jamie said setting off to look for one

"We float" Filip says sarcastically

"I say we look for a trail" I said following Jamie in his hunt

"Yeah that's probably the better option here instead of floating and climbing" Jack said tiredly since he was still waking up

"Found one!" Me and Jamie call out to the others where they quickly caught up to us.

We followed the trail, which ended just before the cliff, but we kept going in the direction of the trail. Once we were on the cliff, we set down the blankets we brought and settled down. To my right was Bailey, and to my left was Britain. Due to it being early, there was no doubt that some of us would fall asleep, but I didn't know it would be so soon when I started to feel my eyelids closing by themselves.

"Addie, you good?" Britain asks when he looked over to me, also making Bailey look over at me

"Mhm" I replied quietly, starting to fall asleep

"Adds go to sleep it's fine, lay down" Bailey said reassuringly, giving me some of her blanket

"Yeah bro you look hella tired, here" Britain said folding his jacket so that I had something to lay my head on

Once my head was on Britain's jacket, I quickly fell asleep. It was a very peaceful quick nap, until Duane and Filip started threatening each other.

"I will push you off this cliff, no hesitation" Duane said almost yelling, but being sarcastic as it was sort of a long fall down

"Okay do it pussy!" Filip says matching Duane's energy and also almost yelling

"Yo shut up! Addie and Jamie are sleeping, you know how they'll be if they get woken up!" Jack says shushing them

"Well it's time they should be waking up the sunrise is sunrising!" Duane said loudly causing me and Jamie to wake up

"Shut the fuck up D" Jamie said groggily

"What he said" I added in about to go back to sleep

"Well if you guys want to miss the sunrise then go back to sleep" Filip said getting his phone out to take pictures of the sunrise

After we were done watching the sunrise, we headed back to camp. As we were not ready for what we were about to hear. It was still pretty early, around 6 am and we didn't expect that many people to be awake yet. But here we were, everyone waiting for us to come back.

"Guys is it just me or does it look like the entire camp is awake" I asked looking back at the group to make sure they are seeing what I'm seeing

"Yeaaahhhh, let's hope we don't get in trouble" Bailey looking at the camp

"That's a high hope Bai" Jamie replies

"Where have you guys been!" We hear coming from the camp

"Uh oh" I said once I heard the voice

"Yeah we're in trouble" Jack said in defeat

"Well we can't run from it now" Jamie said walking ahead of us

"We wake up and none of you guys are here what is wrong with all of you!?" We hear one of our parents yell out to us, since we were still walking.

"We wanted to see the sunrise" Jamie said in our defense

Once the whole thing was cleared up, we went on with our day, since it would be the last full day here. We went on this little hike to the waterfall, ate lunch there, and headed back in time for dinner. Once dinner was done we all gathered around the fire once again to share stories, but after a few stories, someone whispered something in my ear.

"Wanna go down to the beach?" Jack asked me

"Yeah I'm down" I replied still sort of listening to Zoe's story of how Sam pranked James for an entire week

So we walked all the way down to the beach, in mostly silence except for the occasional, 'watch your step' and 'look out'. Other than those, it was a comfortable silence, the one where you understood each other without saying anything, the one where it wasn't awkward nor weird. Once we were on the beach and sat, we enjoyed each other's company and started talking.

"You know, it's crazy how this is going to be our lives for the next year and a half." Jack said starting the long conversation to come.

"Exactly, and how James idea of Avatar brought us together, even if it's for the best and worst" I said, the last part jokingly

And so the conversation went on, talking about how this will change our lives, our future, our everything.

hellooo!! author here and I first off want to thank everything that is supporting this book, it really does mean alot. so I've been gone because I: 1) didn't know what to write
2) lost a little motivation
3) swamped with school work and finals
4) couldn't find time
but im back now and ready especially since I'm on break rn. this chapter didnt really go as planned but its whatever not my best work or my worst like im okay with it its decent . but ouuuu u guys aren't ready for the near chapters 🙈 it's funny how I have the like super far ahead chapters fully planned out whole the next like 5 aren't that planned out lmfao okay enough talking. again if it's rushed it probably is 🤗 I HOPE YOU ALL HAVE A WONDERFUL AMAZING DAY/NIGHT ILY
