Chapter 8~ Reminisce ♥

As I admired the lights and town I never seen, I was quickly spotted by someone.

Some people in suits. Am I that noticeable? I guess I'm wearing a kimono and everyone else is very reveling. Not only that I have an infant.

"What are you doing around here girl? And a baby? Where are you supposed to be?"

Maybe they could help me I thought.

"Could you please help me? I need to find a place to stay."

The man grabbed my chin lifting my face towards him.

He smelled lightly of alcohol.

This place was lit up but since we were in at the exit of this alley it was sort of dark.

He saw my bruised eye and scares on my arms.

"Were you abused?"

"!!! Uh no" I pulled away fast and looked down.

with sympathetic eyes he told me to follow them. With a glimmer of hope I followed

They were all men wearing suits like the ones father had around. He called them something. I remember he called them family but they were also his assassins. Yes my father was in a business of some sort. So does that mean there from the same kind of work too? I'm unsure if this is the right thing to do. But I could be wrong to. A suit doesn't mean anything right?

He brought me to a very luxurious building. He told his men to leave so I was the only one here with him.

"How old are you?" He asked curiously.

"Fifteen..." I said looking down at my brother who lay asleep in my arms. I smile.

"You just came of age huh. And you look like you've been through a lot already.

" I guess so."

The elevator came to abrupt stop.

He walked me out the elevator and brought me to a room with a man sitting at a desk.

"Come in" the man said.

The man bowed down forcing me to as well.

"Boss my I have permission to take her in as my own?"

'Take me in?' I thought confused.

"Stand up" he said

We both stood up like he said.

He looked me up and down.

"She looks terrible where did you find her?"

"Near the red light District. I doubt she's a prostitute because look at her she came from some family. It seems that they have mistreated her badly." He explained

So he already knew that much from looking at me.

"Hmm go ahead. I expect you to make her into the finest assassin."

Assassin? What's that?

"Yes sir." He said

"Your dismissed"

We left from the same way we came.

It was quite in the elevator.

"From now on you take orders from me and no one else."

"..."

"wahhhhhh wahh" my brother began to cry.

"Shhhhh its okay." I brought the infant food I carried out from my stuff and fed him.

"what your relationship to..."

"I'm his older sister and his name is Akihiro."

"yes I'll find you somewhere to take care of Akihiro."

"Thank you!"

We made it down to the last floor. We walked out the elevator and towards the main exit from out this place.

"We need to clean you up. I'll buy you some close but first I'll take to my house."

"hm" I hummed in approval.

We walked toward a car. I actually never seen one up close before. I never left my home until now.

I stood still and looked intently at the car.

"Heh have you seen a car before?" He said sarcastically.

"No I haven't."

"Oh. Well here"

He opened the door to the car and let me in.

*Plop

I sat onto the seat. If was extremely comfy. I didn't expect it to be like this.

"Like it?"

"Hm yes I love it!" I smile.

"Hm." He looked at me a little happy

"Hm what is it?" I asked

"Nothing you look nice with a smile on your face. You should smile often!" The man said

I remember my father said that once too. I wonder if this is what he would want for me.
