My brain sits upon silt and ash
Sifting through foggy memories long lost,
Many eons ago

The stars lost count how many tears fell
They only know when they're already gone

Gold and shiny,
Dew and glossy
This body of mine aches,
No longer new

If they said this is how things would be, would I still be sitting here?
Full of potential but lacks the common sense of a bee
