Chapter 2: I'm Sorry

Phew! That was close!

I muttered on my thoughts and tried to stable my balance once again.

After doing so, my eyes and his eyes met once again. He shot a glare at me. His glares gives shivers down my spine. Why does he look so scary?

Another attempt.

He stood in front of me with his poker face again. He didn't even reacted after the incident.

He again lifted his arms up and pushed me once again. But this time, it was more forceful than the first one. I tried to stable my balance, but it was too late.

My body starts to shake and I started to fall on the river slowly. My eyes widened as soon as my back starts to bend backwards. My arms started to shake backwards as well.

"AAAHHH!!" I screamed as my body starts to fall against the river.

*Splash*

I shut my eyes as a huge wave of splash splashed on my face and on the ground. His friends soon laughed after they saw me, including Kai. He was wearing a worried look as he didn't expect it to happen. Either I to myself didn't expect it to happen as well.

I was so wet, my T-shirt and my shorts were wet as well. I didn't expect the water could be so cold. My face got splashed by the water so, it kinda looks like I was taking a bath at the river.

Taehyun and Soobin were laughing at me, while Yeonjun was smirking.

It was so unfair, yet I still showed a genuine smile and laughed along with them. But Kai wasn't happy at all, he didn't smiled nor laughed along with them. He just stood there quietly.

"Hehe" I scratched the back of my head.

Kai soon walked towards me and helped me to stand from the river. And again he saved me. Shocks! Why is he so gentle???

"Yeonjun-hyung" He muttered seriously that made me flinch a little. From his cute and soft voice, suddenly turned into a serious and deep voice.

I looked up at him. I could see in his eyes that he wasn't aware that Yeonjun purposely pushed me on the river and didn't even helped me nor heaved to pull me back up.

He wasn't happy at it, not at all. He turned to his side and faced Yeonjun.

"It was so unfair, you didn't even helped him to pull back to the ground. Instead you just stared at him while he was so wet because of the cold water"

He seriously asked. He didn't expect it to happen. I couldn't see a single smile or a smirk that was forming on his face.

"Didn't I just said "it depends" a while ago? Wether the person will pull you back or the person won't pull you back?" He casually replied.

"Even so, it was still unfair. You should've chose to pull him back, instead of watching him drowning on the river" Kai defended.

"For your information Mr. Huening, he wasn't drowning in the river" He argued.

"Even so!--"

"Guys!"

Soobin shouted as both of them stopped.

"For fair, Beomgyu will do the same as what Yeonjun did" Soobin fairly advised them.

Yeonjun then scoffed at the sudden change of positions.

"That's not even fair, I chose this position and I'm not changing another" He crossed his arms and arched a brow sarcastically.

"Yeonjun, the game isn't about positions. Wether you like it or not you're going to do it right now" Soobin fought.

Yeonjun rolled his eyes as he stood beside the river. He shot a glare at me once again. I was scared.

Looks like he's mad

I thought as a shiver rolled down my spine. I gulped a little bit as Kai gently grabbed my hand and located me at Yeonjun's front.

Yeonjun and I were facing each other, yet i was still afraid.

He look so scary!!

I thought.

"Now Beomgyu, instead of Yeonjun-hyung pushing you. Now you're going to push him against the river" Soobin advised.

I nodded my head as I understood. Yet I was still hesitating. I'm sure if I'm going to push him against the river, he'll just laugh it off like what I did. But...what if no?

As to what they asked, I casually rose my arms and pushed him aggressively at the river as well. But he was so stiff to unstable his balance. He quickly bent back to his previous position and acted like as if nothing had happened.

Woah...that's tough...

I thought as I stared at his eyes.

Another Attempt

In another attempt, I rose my arms again and used all my force to push him against the river.

A few moments later, he was starting to lose his balance but not well enough to make him fall on the river. So I pushed him once again. And now he fell on the river.

A smile formed on my face as I just laughed it all off. But I realized I was the only one laughing. None of them laughed as well.

My laughs starts to get slower and quiet not until I looked back at the boy on the river, he was furious.

His eyes were ranged into fires as it stared into mine's. He was so mad that I could see his hands clenching into fists. He grinded his teeth and scoffed as he went back to the ground.

His dark and furious eyes looking into mine's as he slowly walked towards me. He glared at me deadly as if I could clearly see the word "You're Dead" in his furious and dark eyes.

I was scared. Every steps of him walking towards me, makes me wanna back off. My knees were trembling a bit as I looked down. I don't want to meet his dark and scary eyes anymore.

I'm scared

I thought as I kept my head down.

"I'm Sorry"
