"So were these fishes on sale somewhere? Because all this is seafood." I said.

"No, I asked April what I should make and she said that light fish dishes help the most." He said.

"Why did you ask her?" I asked,

"I felt guilty." He said scratching the back of his neck.

"About what?" I asked.

"I was really rude to you this morning. I should've dropped you off." He explained.

So, this was out of sympathy. A voice from the back of my head said.

'Shut up, shut up. Let me be happy at least once that someone cared this much for me.' I fired back.

"Well I'm glad that you felt guilty enough to make me food because this food is amazing. Appa will love to meet you." I said.

"You father is a chef right?" He asked.

"Ye. He never liked Henry because he never made me anything." I casually said and then realised whose name I had just taken.

Why did this remind me that jerk?

"Who?" Vincent raised his eyebrow.

Shit. Here we go.

Vincent's POV-

Who was Henry?

"Ah, it's nobody important," Eliza casually tried to brush the topic.

"It must me someone significant if he was in the position to make food for you." I stayed persistent.

For some reason I really wanted to know who this Henry was.

She lowered her gaze and muttered something incoherent.

"What did you say?" I asked.

"Henry was my ex boyfriend." She avoided eye contact with me.

I gripped the fork in my hand a little too tightly. This reminded her of her ex boyfriend. Unknown emotion went through my body it was the same feeling I had today when that Heath was mentioned.

"This reminded you of your ex boyfriend?" My tone was weird.

"No need to get offended. I complimented you, he was an asshole." She expression was irritated.

That made me feel at ease a bit that she thought of him as an asshole.

"I've never heard you bad mouth someone. What did he do to make you call him that? Did he cheat on you something?" I took a bite of my food.

"Yes and no." She aggressively put food in her mouth.

"If I am not over stepping my line can I ask you what exactly he did." I was afraid for her current expression but still decided to ask her.
